Vintage Japan Goodies!

I had several slips in the Post today and here's what came in!!

A bunch of goodies I didn't have to bid on! Yippee! Above, a retro anime girl purse case, a retro blue chair, Bandai doll, a mermaid manga book, Charmed Scarlet mod dress fashion, and Yukiko Tani Address book!
This cutie made by Bandai is a pocket doll similar in size to Sweet Nonno, Saila or Dawn. She came in this Sindy jacket, more on her later... She will be added to my shop soon!
Above, Reac made in Japan Volume 5 No. 9 chair collection. It was sold cheap. Very fragile too! It will be added to my dollhouse furniture collection.

This amazing Mermaid Manga book. A lot of pages to read, of two stories of the two mermaids you see on the art below. Really nice condition from the 70s. Amazing Candy Candy style anime art too! I've seen a pencil case with the same art from my friends flickr some time ago!!

It even comes with a postcard on the last page!
All original and in mint condition! I may keep this gem for my collection?! Still deciding...?

This vintage retro girl purse case with strap. In good condition too. It will be added to the shop soon as well! Similar art to Macoto style.

Then, this amazing Yukiko Tani Margaret address mini memo! It had an old ribbon holding the pages in, as shown below...
Above, the before photo. I took out the address memo pages and cleaned the vinyl parts...
Added the gold ring to hold the pages in place, that was missing, threw away the old ribbon...
Then, added some red hemp rope along with a cute floral button. Much better and looks beautiful! An addition to my retro anime girl collection!

Finally, vintage Charmed Scarlet mod orange dress fashion Mint in Package! I will add this gem to the shop soon!
Such a cute mod dress, comes with a hanger and hair accessory!
Lovely Charmed Scarlet below in the fashion!

I wanted also show, that Tadie can fit KukuClara dress! Too cute!

Mail Day!

Today's mail have a few cutesy items I just have to share with you!! First a small packet from Japan!

Above, a vintage play beauty set, and a Lot of Glico girly toys!!
I love the set for the mirror, with the cute retro anime girl on it. It's unopened and with so many cute little things for your dresser!
My fave above, the anime art on the mirror!

My Latest Lot of Glico girly toys... I wanted the lot for the cute dresser in it, of course!!
Some items I already have in my collection, so many will be added to the shop later...
I will keep this cute Marie Antoinette figure above, with her little coach car! Too cute!
My favorite of the Lot, the cute dresser above! It came with a stool too. The stool has a storage compartment too! You'd have to put something really teeny tiny to fit inside!!?
My dresser collection above, from the same series. Some have teeny tiny combs and brushes, but my latest one has only a stool. Below, the various dressers, etc. I love the most!!

Then, I ordered this tiny acrylic miniature vase from a seller thru ebay! It came to me very quickly. I mainly wanted it for my Tadie House!
It is so dainty! I don't have to worry about it cracking if I accidentally dropped it, not like my vintage Vero vase beside it... It will be a nice accessory in any of my dollhouses or rooms!

I also received my very first Hine' Mizushima creation, a 3D Red Squid Brooch! I've always admired Hine's truly amazing creations for a long time. I wanted to try to get one of her cute Posedolly type creations, but sadly I can't afford it...
So, I waited for her to list one of her brooch creations, and this one was listed! Yippee! It arrived to me rather fast?! Nice!!
Hine' thank you for all the extras! You rock!!

Finally, these truly amazing miniature pillows from Italy! A lovely shabby chic shop here called, "Mondina Dollhouse" on etsy, sells some amazing pillows, etc.!! OMG!
It was very hard to choose just one or even two... It arrived to me fairly quickly, Yay!
This lovely rose print 1/12 scale pillow with tassel trim, reminds me of the pillows my Aunt used to have on her sofa, long ago...
Arnval posing with the cute duck pillow, to show scale. I can't wait to use it in one of my doll rooms!!
These pillows are just adorable for a miniature baby room, or shabby chic dollhouse! I will have to go back and order more!?

Playing with Tadie...

Since receiving her, I've been trying to find her some fashions that fit... Back in 2009, I didn't own as many cute fashions as I do now! LOL
My messy dresser, with Tadie wearing a top, which used to be a Holly Hobbie bathingsuit! Shorts for a similar doll as Holly Hobbie?(Sorry can't recall the name of the doll, at the moment!). The pair of mod shoes she can fit, are made for Mattel's Tutti or from the Disco Girls/ World Of Love doll fashions!
Same pants, with a Remco Heidi dress as a top!

Then, I found she could fit the Go-Go dolls fashion as well!

What I haven't been sharing with you, is that I've been working on Tadie's house, at least trying to add some furniture pieces to make up for the one's that are missing. Along with some wall panels that are missing as well...
Above, I bought this credenza to use, as well as this Bodo Hennig patio chair. It needed some painting too. Repainted chair below...

Then, I also bought this oval Modella table, shown here!
Tabytha helped me to remove the dishes, and then the glued on table top design, which was yellowed and sticky gross! Below, I up-cycled it with wood contact paper, for a more modern Danish look!

I may not use it in the Tadie house, but still I have a gorgeous table to use in one of my other dollhouses or doll rooms?!

That's all for now...

Poupee de Tadie Muz Arrives!!

Oh my goodness! She's here!! I've been searching for a Tadie Muz for a year or so. I used to own three of them back in 2008 - 2009, but sold them! Especially, since I never found her house. Now, that I have her house, I need to have a Tadie to live in it!! LOL

Sure enough one was available for auction via Ebay France, last month! I tried to ask the seller to bid on her knowing I don't live in France. But it doesn't hurt to try... Sadly, he said no. So, I did the next best thing! To get a sweet friend who lives in France to bid on her for me!!

My dear friend was so kind to win her for me and a lot cheaper than usual too. If I recall right, Tadie usually costs upwards of $200usd!! But this summer was a lucky summer for me!
Above, a look at what was inside the box! Oh my, he even added two of the chairs for Tadie's house too! Wow, so rare and kind of you dear friend! I'm still in shock!
Sweet message from my friend, above! Tadie, below! She is lovely just like I remembered. Her hair is a short bob style, and wearing her original dress fashion, with boots! I'm not sure if her boots are original to her or not... I doubt it. But still she fits them well!
A close up of her face below...
The two chairs, below. My favorite, the Saarinen Knoll Tulip Arm Chair, left, and a Tulip chair, right!

Then, below, I took out my Tadie clone and had them lay side by side... Hmmm... They do not look anything a like! Other than their noses, and mouth slightly. Eyes are completely different, interesting! I wouldn't have noticed that before?! But now, as they lay side by side, it is more obvious!
I washed Tadie's hair and she is redressed in a Pippa doll dress! I will need to put the house together and add the new items that are slowly coming in for the house! More to see soon!
