Vintage Ceramic Mermaids Japan!

Oh my....

One of my ISO's has landed!!

While searching last week through Yahoo Japan, I was able to find and win this lovely lot of two vintage ceramic mermaids!!

Still mint in original packaging below...
I immediately took them out. I knew upon winning that the blue mermaid had a chip on her tail. But, the seller did mention that the pieces were inside the bag.
They are both amazing. The first time I saw this set was on Shoko's instagram. She has an amazing collection. I thought I would never find the very same mermaids, but I did?! And I'm still reeling. Ha.
The pink mermaid is nice and mint with purple hair. Even more lovely in person!
Notice the felt stopper at the bottom, New! She has not been sitting on a desk or dresser for display?!
I am assuming they are made by Rune Naito with the very same "closed eye" art.
The blue mermaid with green hair... Also nice and mint. I did find the pieces of the tail in the bag.
 Sadly, some are way too tiny to glue on. So, I just glued on the larger pieces at the backside, where they came from. The chips on the front side I could not fix -_-;
The tail from the front is not so bad. Other than this, she is gorgeous and minty.

 My happy place...
My three beautiful ceramic mermaids. The two are a lot smaller than I thought, but still lovely next too my Rune Naito Mermaid.

Pekochan is Here!

My pre-order of "Peko-Chan" from Amiami is here...

Peko-chan is the mascot character for Fujiya Co., Ltd. famous makers of Milky Candies. You can read more about her here. I grew up eating milky candies, my sister still loves them today. Where as, I enjoy eating them once in awhile, mostly to try their new flavors. Ha.

A Nendoroid Peko-Chan was released and I made sure to get myself a figure!
She is so cute and you are able to change out her face, and arms. Sadly, her movements are limited. She is still fun to play with!

She comes with 3 faces, 3 sets of changeable arms, extra neck joint, 4 lollipops, one box of milky candy and a stand.
 Ugh, dying of cuteness here!!

I even tried to make a stop-motion short video, below. No sound. Just for fun. Enjoy!

Some Cuties Arrive!

Adorable vintage cuties arrived to me the past two days...

First up, this cute lunch box case from UK ebay seller...
I've been searching for more of these types of cute bento boxes or cases. There are a few I still would like to get, but to at least find one is great. I will use it to hold tiny trinkets and things instead...

Then, a dear friend via IG showed me that another member was selling her Cortendorf figurine. Small world, she is actually someone I already knew from flickr! Awesome. Great trans and I receive her today! Her box was crushed on one side, as I opened it, I was worried she was damaged. But, as I pulled away the bubble wrap, she was fine. Whew! Thank you dear NiteMary for packing her safely!
She is very similar to my smaller island gal with straight long hair. My growing Cortendorf collection!

I also received an amazing trade from the wonderful talented and sweet Shoko of Milbeetoy.com! For one of my rare cute bunny babies here! Also, some of my other posts talking about her shop here.

Milbee Toy Blog can be found, here! Shoko has impeccable taste for vintage dolls, toys and ceramics. She is also very talented and makes her own unique retro plush cats, and artistic cuties. If you check her blog often you will know when she will have her next sale or update her shop for items! I do this religiously. Ha. Shoko finds some of these most rare and cutest goods around!

Shoko, literally blew me away!! She is kind, very accommodating, and so giving! She offered me several packages to see what I might be interested in to trade my little bunny for. I did have two... and one is really all I need. So, we traded, and I am just so in love with everything that she has given me! Oh my goodness... I'm still in shock with all these cuties!
The trade included a rare Ninohira Baby, a vintage tan retro sitting girl, and she had even given two wonderful extras, actually three! As gifts! Oh my!

The sweetest Ninohira squeak baby! She will be a lovely addition to my squeak toy collection! I hear she is very popular even in Japan. I agree, I tried to bid on one the other day and was outbidded. Such a sweet face, and big eyes. Dreamy...

A vintage tan dolly, I will not share with you at this time... This lovely ceramic bunny below will be a big brother to my little celluloid baby one! The cute tiger with sleeping eyes, also not shown, just adorable...
She even surprised me with this cutie below. Her face reminds me of Chi-chan or maybe the Twinkle Star dolls, similar to Liddle Kiddles! So Cool!
Shoko had sent her box out the same day I sent hers... and it came in about 4 days later. That was lightening fast, even for Japan. Sadly, my box to her went first to Honolulu, Hawaii, then it will go to Japan. I am hoping she gets it by Saturday?! Okay, I'm praying she does. LOL

Please be sure to check Milbeetoys.com, Shoko has many rare items listed for sale. It is in Japanese with some English, but if you email her, she will answer your questions.

Thank you dear sweet Shoko for an amazing trade!

Goodies for the Shop!

Today's mail was stuck in the mail box... I had to wait for Taby to get home from school, then, Sara to finish her homework. Then, for us to drive up to the village to have Taby try to take the boxes out. I had a hard time earlier today, trying to open the mail box, that was holding two boxes from Japan today...

Ugh, So, I had to just share... Thank goodness for teenage daughters with strong hands, whew... LOL

Here's what came in.

A vintage Swimmer Japan basket purse, with Snow White themed decals. Very cute. It will be added to the shop!

I've seen this cute vintage Bunny hanger for some time on Ayumi Uyama searches, the seller wanted 2,000yen for it, but, I found another one for less than that! Yay!
So cute. You can put the ears down to hang a blouse on it or up to hang other things...

I finally won one of these cute mascot guitar cases. Vintage retro, I thought at first it might be a bento box. But, maybe not...
It has a mirror inside. Maybe a keepsake container or sorts?
It comes in parts, then you follow the directions on the box and put them together. A retro feel to it for sure...

Then, while just keeping busy, I took a quick shot of Chichan below. I love her sweet face!
Also, Yashica boy is eyeballing Rose-chan! LOL

New Moo Cards In and YouMakeMeDesign Pin!

Rainy day today, but I was able to p/up the mail after doing some errands uptown...

 Here's what came in...
I had to order new business cards from Moo.com! My last set, ran out a few weeks ago, and these cards are little gifts I add in all my customer's purchases!
This time I just had 10 designs done with recent pics of my cuties... I've been a moo customer for some time now, and they never disappoint!

I also received my order from YouMakeMeDesign on etsy! I just had to get myself one of these cute
retro pastel puppy enamel pins!
As I chew my bubble gum/gift, my new pastel puppy pin is just the cutest thing ever! As modeled by my big baby doll.
It arrived to me super fast from UK! Awesome! Can't wait to add this sweetie to my retro pin collection!
