Goodies from Japan!

I've been so busy preparing for the upcoming Epixcon here on Guam. So, here is a quick post on the goodies that came in this week!
I received a large box, Francine doll, My Little Tomy Rooms - Kitchen, a Lot of Ribon vintage goodies!
Also, some amazing goods from Azone for my girls big and small!!

More Sizes of roly poly dollies already in my shop!!

This awesome addition to my dollhouse collection, My Little Tomy Rooms, Kitchen set. It is one of two parts of the house that I am missing! I was surprised and happy to see it up for auction this summer!

It comes with a fridge, stove/sink, table and two chairs. I will have to share this one more later...

This Lot of Ribon vintage girly goodies, which includes, 3 wallets, 2 ID wallets, 2 memos, a super ace necklace, 2 containers, one large pencil shaped pencil case. I have added all the other goodies that I am not keeping in my shop! Below are the goodies I will keep for my collection!
I fell in love with the pink ID wallet first! It has cute retro girl artwork by Yuko Kitajima. Then, I see another memo case similar to the one I have here. A Ribon ID booklet with wallet and an extra Ribon booklet.
Inside the Ribon booklet on the far right... Lovely retro girly art and pages to write in. Some helpful tips in Japanese on certain projects like sewing, etc. Too cute!
The ID wallet or passbook above. Has lovely photos of the beach and pages to write in as well! These were items you could write Ribon Girls magazine for to receive, or were given inside the manga magazine when you bought one?! This must have been someone's collection as a Teen!?
On the right you can see the Ribon name on the button flap.

My favorite of the lot, this Ribon ID wallet. The cute girl artwork is a card, and you can put a school ID inside. The photo on the right shows a cute girl, faded, but that is one of the things that draws me to vintage Japan girly goods, attention to details! Lastly, the memo case below. Missing the memo book and pencil, still the case is cute. The teen that owned this before taped a cute Miyako Maki art of a retro girl on front!

This unique doll name, "Francine" Tsukuda Original 1970s. She generally comes in an acrylic case with stand. Wearing an elaborate dress like a princess!
 Her case below, with name.

She is beautiful and has similar eye paint to Rainbow Nana with her Starry eyes!
I undressed her so you can see, she is similar to Hasbro's Leggy dolls with her long legs!
Her shoes are very 70s in style. I like the way Yuko of "Yu's Cutie Dolls" explains it, Francine is a French girl, her shoes are by Pierre Cardin.
More fun with her later too!

Thank you so much for looking! ~ ggsdolls

Amazing Find! Les Maison de Tadie Muz!

I'm still in awe of this amazing find!! When I started to search for beautiful dolls from France, I fell in love with a petite doll name Tadie Muz, Kiraz dolls, and Caprice. I used to own three Tadies believe or not!
 - Second Tadie

Then, I fell in love with her house. Yes, Tadie Muz had a house! Since 2009, I've been hoping that one day I would find a cheap Tadie Muz house? I've since sold all 3 of my Tadie dolls... Then, last summer, I found a complete Tadie house, but sadly, it sold before I could convince my husband to help me get it-_-; truly sad. Then, I figured it was not meant to be... This summer, I was able to find an almost complete house!!

It arrived to me fairly quickly and I had to take my time opening the box and looking through all that was in it!
 The cover above and below.

After opening the box. These are the items I found still inside. Sadly, it was not complete. But still I can't complain it was cheap!
Furniture pieces: futon bed, 3 tulip dining chairs, 1 Saarinen tulip chair for Knoll, dresser, tub, toilet, urinal, sink, and cardboard flowers. Missing pieces: Kitchen set, 1 tulip dining chair, credenza, dining table, coffee table, and two metal Bertoia chairs for Knoll (the pieces I wanted the most-_-; besides the Saarinen chair).
It took me almost two days to put the house together. No instructions. Luckily, I was able to see a friend's Tadie house online to help me. All the wall pegs were complete, the only thing that I found that was missing, was 1 wall panel, and 4 acrylic doors. But I figured a way to fix it... more on this soon!
Here is the house with the furniture pieces that it came with. Somewhat bare...

The front door, still has the Tadie Muz sign! Below, the net curtains that came with the house, was filthy dirty! But with just a bit of soap and water and it survived!

Then, I furnished it with other pieces I already had, along with rement, and other miniatures!
 Dining area...

 Bathroom...

Kitchen, I used 1/12 scale pieces... a bit small, but just as an example.

 With the roof put together...
It was fun to put together and to see what I can and can't find, amongst my collection to help the house feel more complete... More on this amazing dollhouse soon!
