Lot of Goodies For My Shop!!

I won this Lot of vintage decor etc. from Yahoo Japan a week an a half ago and was waiting for it to arrive. I saw in the lot a few rare ceramics I know many of my fellow collector friends would love! Thus, why I bidded on it. I got a call while trying to find an item that sold in my shop, but my phone was charging and I didn't hear it in the other room. When I came back and saw that my postal friend called, I immediately called her back and thank goodness, I was able to see her before she left the PO. Whew!

So here's what came in...
As I opened each of the bubble wrapped items, I took the photo and forgot two others not shown here. Ugh. The Lot included, a pixie posedoll, a plush bandai poodle, a chenille nun posedoll, an Angel thermometer with days calandar, a Ladymate jewelry box, a chained silver swan mother and babies with box(not shown), two tube clown and native trinket boxes, ceramic telephone bunnies, ceramic long neck fawns, a Mexican playing guitar bottle opener, a shaker rack, and last two veggie wall pockets(not shown).

A desk Angel thermometer is quite unique, it's in Celsius and even has days on there! Funny thing the Angel is holding a bowling ball. It looks like it still works, I will check it again. The Chenille Nun posedoll is unique and delicate. She is on a wooden base stand. Lovely too! Then, this Bandai red and black poodle plush is in great condition. Still has its original chain collar with Bandai emblem. I love that his ears underneath is plaid.

This awesome shaker rack, I think, that's what it is? Is so cute! You can change out the photo on the front. Which I may do. I need to repaint it white after I clean it up. This one I will keep for my collection. Mostly because it reminds me of those 60s magazine racks, but this is the mini version! These tube trinket containers are adorable, they are made using paper towel tubes and wrapped with rope, I'm guessing. Still cool! I love the clown and Native. I will keep them for now.

These telephone bunnies are just adorable. They come wearing hats as they both talk to each other on the phone. They have rabbit fur hair on their head in pink. A lot of crazing, but still lovely. This ladymate trinket jewelry box is just adorable. I've found several of them in the past and this one is one I've had before. Love them. Sadly, there are markings, and even though you close the lid the music still plays. Yes, it works and will still be a great piece if you can remove the markings and maybe even fix the piece missing to stop the music when the lid is closed. It plays Japanese song titled, "A River is Running".

These lovely wall pockets are veggies in red pepper and lemon. Lovely condition and still have their original stamps underneath. The item that caught my eye in the lot, these long neck fawns. I just sold the lone fawn I owned via Etsy late last month, to someone who had her partner missing. Now, to find this set complete... Yessss please!! They are already claimed and won't be added to the shop. Sorry in advance. They have the same painted eyes as the Norcrest white deer version.

This Mexican wooden mid century bottle opener, plays the guitar and it comes off to open your beer bottle. How cool is that. His body is a magnet and holds the guitar to him. I will add him to the shop also. Next, this lovely large pixie posedoll kneehugger ornament. She is kinda large as an ornament on a tree, so maybe still just to decorate your room with. Lovely face with big eyes, she does need a bit of cleaning, but a lovely kneehugger as well. Last in the lot are these silver chained swans that come with their original box. In lovely new vintage condition. Mother and baby swans to decorate your kitschy cute room!

I had also ordered these lovely vintage 'Forget me nots' paper flowers for my Rushton plushies. I wanted pastel blue and pink, and the Etsy shop I got them from even gave me a gift of red flowers. How sweet! You can find them at A Pink Swan! Great service too! Also, I discovered these honeycomb vintage paper decor from the 60s. Mostly because a fellow collector had a lovely paper doll in one of her photos and she wore a honeycomb dress. Later, I found out it is actually a bridesmaid paper centerpiece decor, whaaaat? LOL So, I searched them up and found this lovely 1960s Hallmark honeycomb bride centerpiece. There were two up for sale, one on Etsy and one on Ebay. I bought both. LOL Crazy I know. But, with good reason, I found out later...

I opened the one in its original packaging first, I love the art even on the envelope. So beautiful. Inside is supposed to be the bride paper doll with honeycomb skirt, flower, netting for veil, and ribbon for bouquet. Sadly as I took out the paper doll itself, her head was missing, and her arm. Noooo! I thought. I guess during shipment, with all the movement, the head got ripped off and the arm. Ugh. Now what?! I decided to ask the seller for a discount for what happened and I would keep it. I got a refund and was able to fix her too. Not shown though. She was missing her veil though. ugh.

The second Hallmark bride was not in great condition as the one in the envelope, but still just as lovely and her neck was worn, but not ripped off. Whew. She had her veil but was missing her ribbon for the bouquet. Both brides open up nicely and needed adjusting. After I fixed the first bride. I went ahead and opened the second to show you the honeycomb effect.

So pretty too! I may have to replace the ribbon, because I took the one and cut it in half to share between the two. I also, added some lace to the bride that is missing her veil. I will show in a later post. I also, got these two items from an Etsy shop. I wanted to check first how the quality was, because they were a bit pricey to me for miniatures. I love the girl flower decor and the pink gooseberry pyrex is nice, but probably made with 3D printing. To me it seemed quite expensive for a set. Oh well. these two were still cute. I will use them in a miniature dollhouse seen soon!

Last, I bought this adorable mermaid print of mermaid tails at Ross, and I just love the whimsical-ness of the art. It's already hanging in my side of the bedroom! Yay! I hope you all are having a great weekend. I hope to post the items in my shop soon!

Thank you for visiting! ~ ggsdolls
