I'm packed and will be leaving by this Sunday. My sister who lives in WA will be traveling into Hawaii and I will be meeting up with her there, then bringing her back home. She hasn't been on island since 2011. So it will be her birthday and homecoming. I can't wait! We have plans to do some traveling too! So, I decided to keep the shop closed for a bit until I get back on island.
Here are a few finds that came in until then...
I found this lovely vintage Kuma-chan or Bear plush from Japan. He's is rare and about 1950s or 60s. He is supposed to be a squeak too, but sadly, his squeak doesn't work. I will be adding him to my shop, next week. Then, I found another vintage Rune Naito art rabbit coin bank with the side pose. I've found him once before and sold him. Now, this is the 2nd time. He is in excellent condition with only his sticker underneath missing. She will also be available in my shop next week! All original and I've replaced the missing sticker part with felt.
This silly vintage toy bunny with googly eyes necklace. I actually wanted to buy a bear from a friend via IG in UK but, she never got back to me. So, I found a shop via Etsy that has them up for sale in the USA. He arrived safely and the seller even added a gift for me, how sweet! Love his silliness! Not for sale.
Next, I won this green and pink minty 1950s Easter bunny. Still has her plastic container. She small and adorable and a great size to fit inside my display cabinet too! Her ears are not satin but instead felt. I may try to find some pink satin to change that. Lovely pink googly eyes too!
Look at this amazing Kamar Furry Bunny with tag. I found her through Etsy, and the shop I bought her from had many Kamar products. Listing them as prototypes. I've seen this particular Kamar mostly in Japan auctions and to find one outside of Japan, was a bit of a shock! Her name is, "Waffles". She just adorable. I love her pink color too and cute face! The seller even included a Kamar bag see below! How cool is that!
Two Kabaya Jewel box toy jewelry, a candy beaded toy bracelet and a heart hair tie. I love the bracelet for sure! I also got some craft goodies at the Goody Store. Just need to have time to work on a few projects hopefully, when I get back...

Like Hitting the Jackpot!!
OMG, I have met some amazing friends on IG, since signing up back in 2016! One very special friend in Japan, that contacts me from time to time about selling her vintage goodies. I try my best to help her sell off the ones I can't buy, and offer them to some of my fellow collector friends. Trust me, if I could I'd buy them all!! Please note to my fellow collector friends, it's just my way of sharing the vintage goodness, that a very sweet friend offers me.
So, here's what I immediately said Yes, too! Haha! Please note, not all the items I'm about to share are purchased from her, some I got from other online finds...
My friend even added a vintage Rune Christmas card!! How sweet is she?! Another set of Norcrest white ceramic fawns, a red sweater kitty couple, a red dotted fawn couple, a bunny vase, a Rune Bunny coin bank. Then, I found this lot of four figurines, brown deer, a duck, and cute mini floral bunnies. Just before cleaning above.
I was floored when I saw, the ceramics she was offering me! Literally! I will definitely keep the sweater pup for now. I miss the tall one I used to have! Just amazing and I feel blessed, thank you again my dear friend!!
This cute lot of figurines, a duck missing her partner and a doe also missing her partner. This cute mini floral bun bun couple set. I didn't realize how small the chained couples could get. This one is seriously small!! Even the little heart card is small!! I'll show scale with another figurine next post! I'm keeping these little bunbuns.
I adopted these cuties from another sweet friend in Japan. I finally, have the red bear!! I have been wanting the red bear since 2015 and seeing a minty set sell to a fellow collector. Hehe. Now, I have her!! Yippee! Sadly, the white bunny, has a broken leg, and I reglued her for now. I'm happy they still have their ornament loops too. Next, I found these quite unique planter with cute lambs. The lamb in the tree stump wiggles a bit and has bunny fur hair around her neck, along with a pink bow and bell. She dings too! I have never seen this before and I'm so happy I snagged them via Etsy! Keepers for now.
A 3D printed unicorn with pink hair, that This Girls Kitsch made especially for me, thank you my dear Ana!! I love her so much. She is the coolest Uni EVAAAA!! Last, this amazing wind up toy tin face bunny. Sadly, he is missing his yoyo, but he still works!! Yay! I love him so much and I've been on the search since 2017. Most of the time I see him with rust on his face. So, to find this guy in this condition and he works. Oh my goodness, simply awesome!!
I will be listing may of my finds above, with the exception of the ones noted. Hope you all check out my shop tomorrow, I'll try to list them by then.

VTG Finds This Week...
Here's this week's finds...
I decided to bid on a set of Lefton Ballerina figurines in Yellow and Blue. The seller had them up since last year, so, I made an offer. Now, my pink ballerina is not lonely. They are lovely and a great addition to my small collection of ceramics. Next, I recently found a box of Japan finger puppets via Ebay. I got an earlier set here in this post. But, this one has the original box they came in. They arrived and most of them were in great condition, two were needing a bit of help. Let's look at the box first... Vintage box has cute Japanese doll and toy printed on it, very similar to many of their gift boxes with toys sold around the same time. Made with corduroy, felt and other usual materials for this time frame, there is a bear, cow, clown, cat and pig.
I first, decided to fix the cow who is missing his iris in one eye and the full eye on the other side. The cute black cat had part of his eye missing, and I just added the felt part that was missing, and now he looks cute again. I took out my first set of finger puppets and just noticed that I had pairs!! Each of them are in different colored fabric and the recent ones have an "X" on their collars. They are made with high quality fabric. A few can look a bit scary, but most are just adorable to me! Haha! Not for sale.
Last, I purchased this sexy Rune or Ado Lady coin bank from a fellow Etsy seller. Sadly, her paint was all faded, unlike the first one I found back in 2016, here. So, I worked on her today and repainted her, using acrylics. Then, sealing her with Mr. Clear gloss. She comes with her original box, pamphlet, stopper and towel. How cool is that?! I was also able to translate the pamphlet, well sort of. Here's what I think it says, "Daddy, are you putting money inside? There is a towel to cover the secret hiding spot and keep it near you. Hopefully, Mom will not be mad." On the towel, it says, "Incentive Charge", Underneath the towel!" LOL too funny!!
I will be adding her to my Etsy shop soon! So be looking out for her. I am awaiting a few more goodies in the mail... coming soon!!
