"Despite the Forecast...

...Live like it's Spring!" ~ Lily Pulitzer

Spring is in the air... well on Guam it's always Summer! Haha! Here are some amazing finds of the past 2 weeks...

Found this antique Douglas Cuddle bear in "Hounds tooth" print. He is definitely adorable and so unique in this color combo. He's listed in my shop. Below, I was able to adopt this cutie from a friend, made by Gund a closed eyes sweet floral print bunny. I love her sleepy face and coloring for sure!

Next, this adorable polka dotted puppy plush in yummy confetti colors, is a musical wind up doggy and play, "How Much is That Doggy in The Window." He has already been added to my Etsy shop as well. Below, I finally was able to acquire this lovely Easter Rushton Ad with Granny Bun!! One of my favorite ads too! I hope to frame this and hang it soon!!

Then, this amazing new to me vintage Rushton plush box. Perhaps from the late 50s early 60s era. It doesn't say what type of plush it held, but it is great to display a Rushton plush for sure!!

And my little sleepy kitty is just too cute inside!! Maybe a bit too small, but I can still display her nicely! Bought a lot of rattles and a squeak to list in my shop. I kept 2 not shown yet. But these rattles and squeak are listed in my shop already!

Adorable cat in bed squeak still works and has lovely coloring. She is not Alan Jay or Ruth E, but still adorbs. The elephant rattle toy comes with the heart rattle you see. So visit my shop soon!

Well, that's all for now... Have a lovely April guys!

My Birthday Month Yay!!

February is already here... Time sure flies doesn't it?! Here are some amazing things I found the past month up until today...

Finally found myself this adorable tin tray and 2 plates with cute kitty faced children. I've been wanting to get myself a complete set of these adorable tin toys by Ohio Art. But they can be quite pricey. Ugh. Still a lovely set and to at least have these, Yay! I also found another rare Unicorn planter! This time with its original box. "Unicorns Fancy***Land" by M. Kazami. This one just had a bit of paint loss on the planter itself and sold within minutes in my shop. Yay!

I also got some of these gatcha Mascot pails with mini fake candy key chains inside. I love the cute pails more so, and the candy is adorable too! I kept a few and added a few into my shop. Next, I received a lot which included this adorable Rushton pink bunny baby. I worked on restoring him and now he is ready to be adopted. He is actually the baby bun that goes with the Mama bunny. I have yet to see a pink Mama bun though. Haha! Still he's adorable with his tuft of curly hair. Probably made around the 70s with the kind of fur he has.

I also found a Rushton Fox! He is in mint condition and still has his Valentine heart with the words, "Don't Be Foxy". His original collar and ribbon. Even his hat! Just truly too cute. I hope to add him to my shop soon! Next, this adorable large posedoll jointed at the legs. I just needed to find her some socks and I made her shoes! She is a great addition to any doll collection for sure!

I also received a box from Japan, and won this lovely Masako W. handkerchief, a Noriko memo notebook and this adorable Oike Co. pink kitty still with original tag. She reminded me of a Jerry Elsner plush. Just look at that face! Haha! She's already in my shop up for adoption. Also this adorable Poppo Chan tan dolly with green hair. She is mint in package and already added to my shop as well!

Lastly, this adorable Miss Pots Dreamland Squeaky! I recently won via IG auction. I've restored her and now she is ready to be loved. I will list her in my shop soon! She had bites on her lid and edge of the lid, lots of fading through out and needed a good cleaning. In the end, she turned out lovely and still squeaks too! Around the same time, I found one via auction site in just as great condition as the one I own. But she has already since been adopted by a fellow friend and collector.

All three teapots above, one on its way to its new owner. The one on the far right is mine. and the center one will be available in my shop soon! Please note, the center one was taken prior to me restoring her. So it is a before photo. Haha!

I hope you all have a great February! Happy Hunting!

Happenings and Dreamy Finds...

I haven't posted awhile... Mostly because, many things are happening that I've observed. Like; the mail is even more slow, as if it was the Holidays already. Not surprised though, since COVID began, more people are shopping online and more mail is in transit. Some other issues are afoot, but I am okay with it and that's just the way life is. So, I'm going with the flow... Any who, here is what came in!!

I was commissioned by a friend to win and get this cute Gund mascarade bunny! She is lovely and I saw one for like $1400 on Ebay!! Oh my, lucky she won this gal for a lot less!! Next, I also got this lovely pink terry cloth Rushton lamb. She is in lovely preowned condition and I replaced her bow and added a vintage paper flower. She is already listed in my Etsy shop!

Then, this lovely vintage 'Jack in the box' kitty squeak toy. I've seen this before from another collector. This one has a cute painted kitty with a ball on the front. I bought it via Ebay, and it still squeaks too! When you press the button, the little kitty jumps and squeaks at the same time!! LOL Made in Japan by Shackman Co.. I also found this lovely mint in box vintage silk pose dolls or "Bunka" dolls. I was in shock and to find them in the US. The box says, "Old Play", according to Google. The dolls were well taken care of and in lovely condition too. The last photo comparing the others I have in my collection.

This cute ceramic pup I got from Susie on IG, I made into a furry. She is so tiny and I think she turned out cute! Just one of the things I am doing to keep busy here under lock down. LOL I also received today, this lovely vintage Columbia Toy Easter bunny in blue. He was actually with floral ears, but... Yup, I changed it to satin pink! Haha! Now, he matches my cute wall Plaque made to look like him! He is probably 1950s, and has foam stuffing, thus why his ears can stand straight upright along with the wires that are inside him.

Last, this cute made by Oike Co. New/Old stock plush white bear with original tag, booklet and box! I just got him from DHL today!! He is in amazing vintage condition and his booklet is so cute too!! He has a collar with a gold tone Oike Co. symbol. Just look at the other dollies featured in the booklet too! There he is on a boat with another bear! I will be adding him to my Etsy shop later too! So be on the look out!

His original box above. Well, we will find out if we continue on lock down this Friday or not...

Stay safe and well my friends!
