My New Girl is Here!!

Oh my goodness! Charlotte has arrived! I've actually been browsing my fave shop online, for more of their pre-owned goodies and boy are they cheap!! I couldn't help but break down and get this girl for her head!! Yup, for her head and I am so glad I did!!

First off, a foreword...hehe. Charlotte Francia is actually a game character (I am finding out just now too, if you didn't already know her.) from Quartett! Read more here! I thought she was from a manga, and I didn't care, I just loved her for the unique way her face looked, and especially because she reminded me of a manga character from the early 90's!
I only saw a thumbnail pic of her anime figure in the shop and immediately, clicked to see more of her!!
A pic of her box above and below... Illustrated by Ashito Oyari
How can one resist?! I paid less than $20 and she arrived safely to me today! I immediately, took her out of her box and worked on her head...
Here she is below. It took some work to get her head to fit the peg and a bit of modifications, but I got it done. Now, I can interchange between Azusa and Char...so much fun!!
More pics of this girlie soon!

It feels Refreshing and New!!

Gosh, so much is going on and so much to get done too! It's kinda crazy!! The past two days I've been working on this blog to have a for sale page, so that I can list other items I have in my collection that are not vintage, but more recent! Like books, Anime Figures, etc. With Etsy, we are not allowed to sell items that are recently made, unless we as a shop made them-_-; So, I'm hoping this will be sufficient?!! So, go check out my for sale page pleeease!!LOL

In other news...I received this lovely Vintage 1st Generation Licca Shop a few days ago. I found for someone who was looking for something similar, but sadly, they didn't want this one-_-;  So, I might keep it for myself! Maybe? ugh, the temptation!!
MIB, this lovely shop kiosk, is missing all the accessories that came with it, but still has the price list and shelves. Nice and mint, I figured I could just add some of the accessories I already have in my collection!
The shop showcased below on the box! I believe it is a shop for hair accessories?

My take on the kiosk! I've added mostly, purses, jewelry, frames, and hair accessories. I have a similar decoration plant used here, from the flower shop in my collection!
The register is Glico. I then also added some textured colored paper to each of the shelves! Still it turned out nice and simple.
The top shelf has magnified windows all the way across, so that buyers can see the merch!!
Even if this shop kiosk is missing all of its accessories, one could still find something to fill the shelves with!!LOL! Now, the shop is open^_~ (not really). I need to place both the flower cart and this kiosk side by side and do a photo shoot!!?

Then, I also received some 1/12 scale clothing for Azusa and Obitsu zoris for my Aram...
Sadly, the top was too large for her, but I was able to sew the khaki capris and make them a bit smaller to fit her better!

 She loves to pose!!

Fun with Clothes for Azusa!!

What I received in the mail this weekend!! I have been scouring the internet for these picco nemo skirts and finally found some via Hong Kong on ebay...sadly, they cost a pretty penny-_-; Still I finally have them, along with some obitsu maryjanes from ebay and some rock candy beads from etsy!!
Azusa is wearing one of the skirts below, and the shoes! I decided to add some yellow beads to her hair. Now, she looks even more cute with hair ties!
Fun with the small rock candy beads. I bought two sizes!
Below, I made her a ribbed yellow top from a skirt and she is wearing some black panties by Azone and socks!

Puppet Story Book Found!!

I have a few puppet story books by Shiba or Froebel-Kan that I just couldn't resist getting, and this is one of them!
"A Rocket Trip to the Moon' by Golden Books. Is a lovely vintage puppet story book that any child, boy or girl would love. Often hard to find, and generally expensive. This book has all the makings of fantasy and exploration dreams come true!!
Chocolate milk in space, caught Taby's eye! This book reminds me of the puppets on the Sci-Fi TV show, "Thunderbirds"!!
If you love puppet story books, this is one book you must have in your collection!!

Below, Azusa is reading her manga book outside today, while leaning on a mushroom!

Bandai Christmas Diorama Kits!!

On New Year's Eve, I received from Yahoo Japan, two diorama kits I couldn't wait to put together with my daughters!! I actually won them before Christmas, at a nice price too! Sadly, I couldn't get them sent out til' after Christmas, and just before New Year. -_-;

Below, the two Bandai Konapun Christmas Diorama Kits, one that is "Santa's sleigh" and the second, a "Christmas Tree". The kits use a type of clay material, like icing, after you mix it, that you can squeeze out of a baggy to decorate the tree or sleigh.
This was the first kit I saw above on auction, and then notice the same seller has another available and won both. There is a third kit, "Gingerbread House", but it had already sold, darn. These were vintage toys from a warehouse, not sure what year?. From the box, you can see there is a cute doll, little animal friends and the sleigh in a winter wonderland scene!
The box included the ingredients for the clay mixture, along with measuring cups/spoons, small plastic bags, cutouts, 3 plastic trees, gold star, ornaments, and the sleigh. What I liked best, was the fact that it came with its own display case!
Below, the little helper that rides the sleigh to help Santa with deliveries! She reminds me of Koeda-chan!!
Everything was packaged and sealed, but I decided not to use the clay mixture to decorate with. I was afraid it would not take since it was old store stock...
So, instead I used some textured card stock paper to glue onto the trees, and added some cotton, along with using permanent markers to decorate the reindeer.
The diorama turned out just as lovely, and way less messy than if we had used the clay. It was so much fun to put together too!
 Below, the "Christmas Tree" kit.

This kit was similar and came with the same things as the first kit, except there is no doll, just a mold to make a snowman, squirrel, and bunny animal friends. The tree was made of cutouts from styro-foam, and included plastic gates.
I used the textured card stock paper for the tree, and it turned out just as lovely as the other diorama!
I borrowed the gift from the other scene, and also added a doll gift I had from a vintage doll fashion!

Since I didn't use the clay material, I didn't make the tiny animal friends...still I am sure I could find little friends to include in it before next Christmas. I took the scenes apart and placed them into my storage containers for next year!! These kits were amazing and so much fun to put together!!
