Happy Halloween!

Wishing you all a very Happy Halloween! Be safe and enjoy yourselves! It's okay to be what ever your little heart wishes for today...

Also, some goodies, that came in over the weekend and today!
Vintage Ninohara Bunny squeak toy. So small. I've never seen these before?!
He has a little birthmark on his face. A great addition to my collection.

Found these vintage rubber craft animal faces, I am going to see what I can do with them... The Sheep faces remind me of Rushton Plush animals!
Cute duck, chick, and lamb... Can't wait to start crafting!

This coin bank, was mint in package, but I will be putting her on the wall with my other Tresor Verlag!
Needs a bit of cleaning, but otherwise nice! Even has the key. Yay!
Both art prints. You can tell which one has aged...
These are amazing prints. Both found through etsy.

Some Goodies That Came In!

I had some issues with my online shop... Now, its fixed. So, if you are trying to buy items. It should be working now. Sorry about that.

Some amazing finds came in today!

This one from ebay for my collection, a large meyercord blue bunny decal. So adorable!

This little Gege doll by Sekiguchi I found thru an online shop in Japan. She needs cleaning up, an apron, pantaloons and I might get her another hat... more on her soon! I may keep her?! LOL

This amazing online shop find!! Retro tin canister with cute puppy retro decal. I am having such a hard time deciding to keep it or not?

Just adorable, and looks so at home on my dresser with all my other vintage goodies...

I had to stop by at the Goody Store and picked up a few items...
I found this cute Bear Katyusha ears, there were bunny ears and cat ears too! Some masks, and other festive Halloween items.
 I found this light up pumpkin. He was the only one left. I asked the clerk if she had batteries since he didn't come with any. There were a lot of ceramic pumpkins, but this one was the last-_-;
More on him later...

I was playing around with the bunnies and made this via Lumyer!
They make me smile... Enjoy!

For My Collection...

Lately, I am finding myself liking a broad range of vintage items, that are not doll or toy related, somewhat?

You probably could tell already! LOL

I got this cute Ceramic Lamb planter from etsy. I'm not much into planters, but, I loved the colors and the fact that it was small, that made me decide to get it. Along with its cheap price.
Obviously made in Japan. The eyes are always similar with Japan made ceramics. Huge eyes in a whimsical stare, that just makes you recall many sweet childhood memories... ahh.

This very Mid Century modern vintage Tresor Verlag, coin bank, art print box, from West Germany. Also, from etsy.
This is of a Blonde girl feeding milk to her cat. Very Mid Century Modern. At the top of the frame is a slot for coins.
There is a keyhole on the back of the frame. Sadly, the key is missing. Still a lovely design and it will be a great addition to my art collection.

I am also shocked with myself for wanting this... but, I have seen some beautiful vintage aluminum thermos collections on instragram, that are amazing. Mostly made in China, these thermoses were from the 1940s or 50s, and to this day, some still maintain gorgeous colors. So, I got one from Let's Color Your World online shop.
To maybe own one or two, would be nice. It arrived to me today, and I didn't realize how big it was? Oh my!
She even gave me a few gifts for shopping with her, how sweet! I love the tiny Matryoshka nesting doll, and these very cute postcards!

I was also able to snag this cutie! Made by Bitter Squeaks, the amazing, Kate Hart, a pink Sun Rubber Bear pin/badge. Since I can't afford the real one. Yay! So cute too. It will be added to my growing pin/badge collection...

Just a few more shots of the lamby, and also the cute Bunny bank...

Making time to share...

Okay, sorry for the delay... But, here are some items that came in Yesterday and Today's mail. I will be adding a few of these items into my online shop soon! LOL

First, I wanted to share a trade I recently made with a fellow collector via IG. She wanted one of my flocked bunnies. I really didn't want to trade... but she made me an offer I couldn't refuse. One of my ISO's below. A large bunny bank from France. She is actually a part of a couple. The boy bunny I will get someday. But, she is my fave of the two. Now, I have her! Yay

Also, some quick shots of Reset chan and Wanda chan...

I had fun dressing and redressing them...

Okay, on to the mail... He he!
A box from Yahoo Japan came in, and I won a lot with baby plush toys, which includes a Bunka baby! Oh my... A ceramic Rune Naito Bunny with strawberry bank, a tan baby boy soft vinyl doll, and I found a pink Swimmer bear mirror, not in my collection.
Rune Naito bunny bank will be added to shop online shop soon. Lovely condition, just missing its black rubber plug. So adorable!
The Swimmer Bear Mirror compact in pink with blue ribbon. I believe this is from the first release. To be a part of my collection.
This cute tan boy soft vinyl doll. Only the head is able to move. I was really surprised no one outbidded me on this one... Generally, I do?! Shocked. This is the sitting version, I've never seen. Mostly the stand up version, have shown up. Also a part of my collection. I need to clean him up.

Next, this awesome lot, I mostly wanted for the large Bunka baby doll in it! I will be adding the other two plushies, that came with the baby in my shop. But, the Bunka baby will be added to my collection.
 I have been wanting a Bunka baby since seeing Melissa's Bunka back in 2011, HERE! I even tried to buy one of her handmade one's... But, sadly they sold out and she doesn't make them anymore-_-;
I agree with her, its about the look of the Bunka, and the feelings this simple baby doll evokes in those of us that enjoy collecting pose dolls, baby dolls, etc. This cutie will need some fixing, to give me that feeling... More later in the post?!

The monkey music plush toy was in the lot, and this cute dark purple elephant plush. I will add them to my shop soon.
I immediately went to work on the baby bunka...
I started off with cleaning up its hair, a lot of yarn came out, but I was able to salvage what was left of it. Cleaned it up and glued them back on. I washed the bib, and allowed it to dry off. Dusted the Bunka off, and then decided to add some paint to its face...

I took out the pearl bead at the center of the eye, and trimmed off the excess thread. I painted on some eyebrows, and added white irises with white paint, to the bunka's felt eyes. After regluing them in the areas that were loose.
I was thinking to add eyelashes, but was afraid I might make a mistake or make them ugly... so I didn't do them. I did try to add some blush, but what I normally use for figures, didn't quite work for stocking material. I will have to ask Melissa what she uses on this material to give blushing to her posedolls... In the end, I was overall very pleased. The Bunka baby turned out well, and its new look definitely evokes sweet feelings of childhood... Exactly, what I was looking for!
