Today, I worked on a few quick fixes on the vintage items I received Yesterday...
I repainted this cutie, just to touch up his nose and red hair. I also added a gold bow!
This cutie was fun to work on. I washed him late, Yesterday afternoon, then took out his old stuffing this morning. I restuffed him, and sewed on new fur, where the burnt mark was. But, I will need to try to match his current fur color. At some point. Then, added a pink bow, some blush to his cheeks, and repainted his nose.
He's not flat like when I first got him! Yay.
I then, realized I forgot to show this interesting item... A vintage Japan stroller I got through Yahoo Japan. I was hoping it was a bit larger to hold all my vintage Plushies, sadly it isn't.
Still, the panda seems to be enjoying the ride!
I also reglued the art print I got. Now, its a lot stronger. She looks nice in this spot.

Happy Mail Today!
Our mail system has gotten slow, not because of the Holiday season, but because of a new contract with the cargo section at the airport, ugh. New business doing an old job... New learning curve for them... Oh well.
So, here's what I had gotten earlier this month, and finally arrived!
I won some items from Yahoo Japan, a Lot of Rune Naito ceramic banks, etc. I found this lovely Miyako Maki tote bag from an online Japan shop, a cute plush panda from ebay, and an art print with sad eyed girl and flowers!
I will be adding most of the ceramics you see in my shop soon! So be on the look out for them...
African boy figurine. He is not a coin bank, and looks to be holding something, but it is missing. I've seen these a lot, and some are too cute. I will add him to the shop.
This cute very small cat figurine, is more recent and from Rune Naito shop perhaps? He came with the Lot. I believe you put an incense stick on the hole at the top of his head.
This cute big eyes puppy, sheep? Not sure, just adorable with her hat. She has some wear and will be added to my shop also.
This guy is popular, a Rune Naito red bird coin bank. Has some wear on his red paint, but can be painted over by new owner. Also added to my shop soon.
This cutie I will keep. I've been wanting one similar, that I tried to buy via my friend online shop, but sadly, someone snatched her up before I could. Oh well, I have this one now, and she will be added to my collection. Yippee!
Oh my dear, this adorable Miyako Maki Scarlet tote bag is just amazing. Has a line down the center, but so what! This bag is already hanging on my vintage German wood cabinet! Just gorgeous.
Yup, I've been smitten by vintage plushies as of late. I found this sweet guy through ebay, while searching for a rushton rabbit... poor sweetie. I will see if I can clean him up and fix him... No tag.
A lovely Sad Eyes art print, I found also searching through ebay, with a "Buy it Now" feature. I was very surprised no one had snatched this up... could it be the seller's description of it being haunted?! Interesting? I will let you know...
I got this plush cutie also through ebay, he needed sewing and a clean up. Tag says, "Yoshipet, made in Japan". Interesting.
I won this cutie Yesterday, while the girls and I went to Tokyo Mart, a small grocery store that specializes in Japanese produce and food. They were having a promotional, and if you spent $10 and up, they were giving their customers a chance to win prizes they had. I won this cutie, actually, there were a lot of cuties, but I grab a pink Sato-chan, not the orange one! LOL
My son's Christmas gift to me above, a white instax. Cool. It was fun to use!
Please check my shop later, I hope to have some items listed later today!

Redressing Japan Dolly...
I have been wanting to find out what I already own, that could fit this cutie?! I won her back in November here.
So, today, while Sara and I did some chores. I worked on the websites, then was done, it was time.
She was able to fit most of Remco's Heidi doll fashions, and Knickerbocker's Orphan Annie's shoes. Awesome!
I love this outfit on her best... She is just the cutest dolly. I'm very surprised I didn't get her sooner. Ha.
I also redressed Arnval in an Azone International sweatsuit made for 1/12 scale Azone dolls. I have the sweatsuit in both red and this blue.
This cute ceramic giraffe shaker I also adopted. He was just too cute to pass up, with his big eyes!

Festive Activities...
It's been busy with many other things besides collecting the week or so.
So, I just wanted to share some of the things that went on...
Last Friday, we kicked off the holiday season with a small gathering at our new studio apartment at The Cliff Guest Condos. We invited the former owners, and our little family on my in-laws side, to sit eat and watch the Christmas lights at the Governor's House go on. It rained a bit and the moon shone so bright that night. The views from our patio!
We ended up taking our gathering inside the small studio. But, it was still nice. Afterwards, we left for Agana Shopping Center for "The Christmas on Guam" display for The Friars on Guam. It was almost 9pm, by then and we had to quickly look thru the display. Oh well, we will get a detailed look next time. It was a great gathering all together.
We also had a parade come through our village of Inarajan. On Saturday night, was another festive event. Then, my hubby finished work on our updated entertainment center. Poor old silver TV finally died on us. I think he did an amazing job, don't you?!
On Tuesday, while the girls were at school we had an inspection for the studio apt. Afterwards, we went to eat at a place we hadn't tried yet. "Ajisen Ramen"! We had always gone by when we'd go shopping at Ross in GPO.
I ordered a delicious Ajisen ramen, Sam had Seafood Yakisoba, Tonkatsu veggies, and I also got Gyoza.
We definitely want to take the girls there next time!
I took some fun shots of the rabbit string holder...
I did received this lovely vintage bookmark with the hard to find ceramic bunny couple, many of my fellow friend collectors have on their wish lists too! Found through etsy...
Huishan was so sweet, she gave me a gift too!
Love this vintage version. Will be added to my collection.
Whether your busy during this holiday season, be safe, be kind, and most of all enjoy yourself.

Today's Happy Mail...
It's been a busy week, and mail is a bit slower due to the holiday season. So, here are some items that came in a bit later than usual...
I found a 2nd vintage thermos in baby blue with cherry blossoms. I have one of them already listed if you are interested, in my etsy shop!
Then, this cute ceramic dog couple from Yahoo Japan. No one bidded it on it and so I was able to get it at a nice price too. They will be added to my collection.
I then found these rare vintage ceramic cup animals, Duck, Chick, Lamb, and Rabbit via ebay. They need a repaint. For now, I'm just happy to have them. Made in Japan, my fave is the lamb.
This cute vintage Knickerbocker Pouty Bear, I found through ebay. He is small and sweet at 7inches tall. He needed to be resewn on his backside though.
Previous owner, did a quick fix with black thread and didn't really try to conceal the break in the fur. So, I fixed that. I also had to sew a rip in the fur on his left thigh.
He also needed a repaint on his nose, and blushing I will do later. I added a teal polka dot ribbon. His fur got much more fluffy after his bath. Yay!
Just too cute.
He and Baby bunny are good friends and sit on my dresser for me to admire...
