Amazing Multi-Colored Pencil Japan!

Above is an ad of a great color pencil all in one, made in Japan around the 1960's or 70's! When I was little, about 7, in 1979, my family took a trip to the states and we went to Sea World. We shopped at the gift shops they had there and my sister got this very same pencil and she gave it to me as a teen...I've kept it all these years!

Finding the ad above just made me want to find the pencil and sure enough I found it and took pics above and below. It had the Sea World logo...

If you place the pencil sideways you can see the various rainbow colors...

You just take out the color lead, and pop it into the next color choice when it comes out on the other end you just take it out and place it into the main holding area at the tip! How cool and ingenious is that! I just had to share this incredible keepsake!! - ggsdolls

What I've been working on the past week...

More redressing my Lina dolls this past week! I've also been working full force on my reference book! I love these mix n match fashions for Lina. They give her a different kind of look! - ggsdolls

I was redressing my Lina today and wanted to try to capture the look and style of the 60's fashions I posted earlier...Somewhat close, but I still feel like something is missing-_-;

I added a Penny Brite Hair bow, and the dress is a Lina original...ggsdolls

More Lovely 60's Fashion...Coats!

I scanned more manga ad pages and these are the cutest too!
I loved most of the styles here, and at one time, I found a
coat very similar to a tweed double breasted coat. I loved it!
The material was not soo heavy too! But I gave it to my step-
daughter and who knows what happened to it-_-;

Vintage Japan 1960s Girl Dress Ads...

I have recently been scanning a lot of dolls ads and magazine articles that I wanted to save digitally. So, I decided to include not only dolly advertisements, but vintage girly stuff too!

"Falling for Tiny Elf doll Dodo over again...

Recently, I saw th1 and tinybear's Dodo. I pray that Rainman will re-release Dodo! I truly hope that this happens. Back in late 2004, I just like tinybear tried to order Dodo via Dolly Paradise back then. But some of us were scammed. I am sure you all heard about this one. Well, to make a long story short, I was able to get my monies back via paypal. Thank God for that!! But to my dismay. I felt so hurt and just sick thinking about gettin a Dodo a few weeks after the incident. Even though shop4bearsanddolls.com started to sell her again. I just couldn't bring myself to gettin' her. I felt like I would get jipped again.

But recently, while searching for more pics of Lyn, Adel, Olivia and others I found Dodo once again amongst other owners photos...and now, I guess with a lot of time... I've healed and wish I could be as lucky as some of you who still have her or were fortunate enough to get her. Poor thing she's been thru so much. I do hope that Rainman releases her again but thru his website. I just can't trust any others. Thanks for listening hugs, gg"


Updated: As of this month April Rainman re-released Dodo again with a few extra items as well! I was soo thrilled and many of my Den of Angel friends have continued to post on my thread on Dodo...Its wonderful how dreams can come true!! - ggsdolls
