A size 8 wig from a seller in Japan. She looks very cute in it!

 Now to find other styles...

I also receive this cute mod dress on the left made for blythe by etsy seller Sheila of House of Daisies! I just love the mod print so much so, that I bought another! Can't wait to try the dress out!!

I also wanted to try my hand at making quotes. Who'd a thought that there would be so many websites to use to type your quotes in!! Gosh, am I behind! LOL

Roly Poly Dolls!

Quite often you will see amazing vintage roly poly dolls that just catch your eye and make you want one! I am not immune to them either...

The one's I've seen made in Japan often make me want one for my collection, but there are a few from other countries like Russia that I love as well! Sadly, they are hard to find or expensive to own. Still, sometimes we are lucky and find them in other ways thru the internet! Yay!

Today, I received one that is a small version as compared to the one, that I saw last year in Akihabara, post here!
This cutie is about 25cm or 10inches tall. Great if you want a small version to save on space!
She is nice and mint and unopened. I have added her to my shop already!
Her tingaling works fine, even the Postal Clerk came out saying, "There's something making sounds inside!" I told her it was a rattle doll. She just smiled at me! LOL

But if you are looking for the larger version at 30cm/ 12in. or middle size at 27cm/ 11in.?
Email me. I can find one for you! Please note: colors may vary.

Today's Goodies!

Just a small packet from Japan arrived. But with some goodies, I won back in June, while on vacation!
Inside, Ciao Jenny doll, a cute doggie memo, and two vintage TV style pencil cases!
Ciao Jenny above and below. I've always wanted to get a Jenny doll with ponytails! So, one day, while just sitting in my sister's living room, found this gal up for auction. Jenny was my very first Japan-made doll back in 1987! Not this particular doll, but still she was my intro to Anime big eyed dolls from Japan!

Below, the lovely vintage TV pencil case! I simply fell in love with the design and art inside, and I knew that you could possibly move the pictures shown on the screen because of the little pink dial! How awesome is that? Being able to change out the artwork on front to give your pencil case a different look every time! Whoa, ingenious!
Inside, places to put pencils, erasers, etc. I was able to win two pencil cases. One for myself, one for my shop! The artwork below is the one I fell in love with first! It reminds me of Miyako Maki's beautiful ladies! But, the artwork is actually by Mihoko Matsuo! I think I've found another artist to love?!!
I could not get the dial to move the pages. So, I took apart one of the pencil cases without any problems. Below, is what it looks like inside. A very simple design, sadly, even with cleaning the rubber that allows the pages to move, I couldn't get it to run smoothly. Well, it's still a beautiful vintage piece. I decided not to glue the cover back, that way I could manually change out the pages...

The front cover above. A lovely ballerina surrounded by flowers! There are a total of seven different lovely retro girl art pages, and I love em' all!

Truly gorgeous! My current page on the pencil case above!

Lastly, a mini memo of vintage plush animals was just too cute to pass up! An addition to my collection! It was a bit expensive, but worth it for the vintage art!
I just had to take a shot of it with my re-imagined felt miniature plush doggies!

Repainting Some Cuties!

Before leaving for vacation in early June, I won a lot of vintage tiny cake toppers from ebay. I haven't posted on them, as they are similar to these cake toppers here! I finally had time today to repaint the one's I set aside. Two girls and two boys, and here's what they look like now!
The girl cake topper on the right above, has original color and paint, the one on the left I repainted to look similar to this girl here! But I gave her black hair!
The one on the left I painted her dress purple, but kept her hair blonde. The girl on the right, I already had. Below, I also repainted the boys!

It was fun to do and I think they look a lot more like their larger counterparts!

I also made these cute 'Dust bunny Girl N Boy' brooches. They will be taken to Epixcon Event!

Then, I won and received this amazing, vintage made in Germany Mod lamp 1/12 scale! I can't to use it in one of my dollhouses or doll rooms!
I've been wanting this type of lamp for my Haefner and Krullman dollhouse! More later...

Working on Upcoming Otaku Event on Guam!

Sorry I haven't been posting much! But, I have a good reason... It's because I've been working hard to get some goodies made before the upcoming event here on Guam called, "Epixcon" to be held on August 1st, a one day event, at Agana Shopping Center!

I've been watching the local Otaku groups here on Guam and slowly but surely they are becoming more up to date with the happenings, similar to that of the Stateside version of Comicon! So, I decided to secure a table for the Epixcon, and will be showcasing my vintage goods as well as selling some handmade items there! I'm very excited and hope all goes well?! For my first event!!
Above, progress of my work...I decided to make some "Dust Bunny" necklaces with "Konpeito" treats! See the cute dust bunnies below...
Here's the finished necklace below! Now, you can have your very own dust bunny as a pet, and treats to feed it!
I'm hoping they will be adopted?!
Then, I also made some miniature book necklaces of some popular manga's!
 and books!
I also, binge shopped at Amiami for some goodies to pass onto buyers at the event!
Wish I could keep the plates above, these guys are so handsome!!
 And other popular goodies too!

Then, in the midst of all of the hubbub, I was able to find this amazing vintage High Fashion Lina for a commission! She is wearing a silver suit fashion, I have only seen in ads for her! It is not featured in her booklet either!

Just to gorgeous! She will need cleaning, but her suit is lovely, and her red top too!

I'm also waiting for some boxes from Japan to arrive for the shop! More soon!
