@ggsdolls_vtg I made this journal to hold my Vtg and modern Anime Shoujo style girl collection. 📓🥰🎀 I used Vtg anime girl fabric from Japan and tulle from my last Daiso trip while in Japan. I have more to add, but I was excited to show it off! 🥰🎀🫰🏼 #vintagekitsch #shoujoanime #handmadebyme #journaling #scrapbook ♬ おいしいおにぎり作ろう - kimimi
Above a video of my latest creation!! Since making the Rushton Journal in this post, I decided to make an Anime girlie one too and fill it with a lot of my Shoujo retro galaxy-eyed girlie art in it!! I began the project late February when I found and ordered this lovely anime girl vintage fabric lot. I got two styles of the anime fabric and it was just enough to make the cover for the file holder/journal book.
I decided to add Tulle in pink, a blue satin bow and felt anime girl art to the front along with some pink and white gingham ribbon to secure the journal when not in use. At the back side of the journal I added the same pink felt but shaped in a heart and the same pink and white gingham ribbon.Inside the front cover, I wanted to add an pink ribbon prize badge and attach an anime girl wallet to it. The first card insert, I will need to add some embellishments to it just to keep the same colorful look. I was so in a hurry to share it that some pages are blank and I need to look at my anime collection and insert them into my journal. I added pages with pockets and clear card files along with journal pages that are blank and pockets for holding larger items. At this point it is kind of random, but I will refine it as time goes on. Teehee...I was also able to find at my local Daiso these side pockets you can easily stick onto your journal to hold items. I just need to get more. Haha! They are perfect for holding larger items, like this second anime girl coin purse I have in my collection. It was fun to add items I got as gifts from sellers and other vintage anime girl memorabilia, like this watch which has Hana no ko Lunlun on its face! Too cute!
I even added some miniature manga gatchas that I got a few years back. Hopefully, the journal can hold more things. But so far it is a bit too bulky. Haha! I may need to cut back on big items and just put in flat items like cards, stickers, etc.
It was so much fun to make and fill. I hope to create more later on. Below, when I found those corner pockets at Daiso, I also found these cute bath bombs there that have compacts in them! I've seen boy style bath bombs, but this time while I was at Daiso they refilled with the girl bath bombs, Yay! They smell nice too and are fun to watch melt away! Haha!
Also, sharing some items I got in the mail. This vintage Licca Chan doll clone. I cleaned her up and she is already listed in my shop! She's small like Dawn dolls, but still unique and cute! Last, this adorable vintage children's tin harmonica. I fell in love with the graphics on the box and on the harmonica itself. Cute retro style animals on the harmonica. A great addition to my little instrument collection for sure!Well that is all for now. I hope you all have a great rest of your week ahead!Thank you for looking! ~ ggsdolls
