New goodies in from Japan, and others!! I had many boxes to pick up via the Post Office!! Most for the shop and a few for me!! LOL
My large box from Japan, included all vintage goodies like a retro scarlet Miyako Maki sketch bag, retro plastic miniature furniture, a lot of various girl toy goodies, and a "Little Mermaid" encyclopedia book!
Above, I won this lot of retro girly goods. The lot included a cute green froggy coin bank, clay bunny, 70's style paper clip, cute anime girl brooch, anime cards, and jewelry bits and bobs!
Most from this lot will be added to my shop!
These cute anime "Love!" playing cards include some very handsomely drawn anime boys!! "Free!", boys need to watch out for these guys! LOL
Mod paper clip magnet. I've gotten before and are fun to decorate any work space or desk!
Gorgeous Retro anime girl brooch. I've seen this type of brooch with Licca doll art on them, but retro anime girls!! Nice! Below, back side. I will be keeping this for my collection! The main reason I bidded on the lot!
This lovely Fairytale encyclopedia book of "Little Mermaid" below. Was a welcome version!
Quite different from the usual books of the same fairytale, and with more artwork and details in it! I must admit the artwork is lovely too, very retro! It's a board book, with nice thick pages.
An addition to my collection of course!
Above and below showcase some of the other fairy tales in this edition...
Then, I also won this lot of cute vintage retro plastic miniature furniture! I'm thinking they are either 1:16 in scale or 1:18?! More on them later...
Now, on to this amazingly mint and beautiful, "Princess" Scarlet Sketch bag with Miyako Maki artwork! This Swan Lake ballerina art is just beautiful!
Just gorgeous, and one of the reasons I love Miyako Maki's works!
One flaw, there is some bubbling of the plastic protection over the face of the artwork, but still a lovely vintage piece. I haven't seen any sketch bags for some time, but this one, I just couldn't pass up!!
Above and below even the sticker and tag is just too cute for anime words!! The bag will be added to the shop as well!
Lastly, I also received this interesting gal from an etsy shop below! I've seen her a few times and usually when she is already sold! But this time, I found one still Mint in Package! Wow, now I get to know more about her!
Her name is "Toni Two", a two in one doll, with changeable faces, from "Glad" to "Mad". She is marked Hong Kong, obviously, a clone type or kitsch toy sold back in the 60s! Her construction is very simple and cheaply made, but if you like quirky weird dolls like I do sometimes, then she is one to find!!
Even her silly buck tooth is too funny!! An addition to my collection of weird ones...

Breaking Out My Modern Age Adorn Dolls!!
I decided to take out of storage my "近代飾り人形 kindai kazari ningyou/modern age adorn doll" mannequin dolls! These are dolls that are similar to Lina but were released somewhere around the early 70's and not much else is known about them, other than that from time to time you see them up for auction through Yahoo Japan or in books that showcase many vintage Japan made dolls...
Past post here!
My collection consists of only three sweet ladies left. After all my lovely Lina's have gone, I've decided to keep these girls with me, as a reminder...
I redressed my short bob one in her blue bell bottoms, a Cher top, Mattel Cynthia scarf, and Tyler W. shades... So groovy man!
One of my long haired beauties, is sporting a lovely Lina blouse and skirt, I just couldn't part with^_~;
Reminds me of the 1960s with their pencil skirts and button blouses!
Finally, my second long haired gal, also wearing a Lina fashion I couldn't part with, and fluffy stole...
She looks so elegant and I love her long neck...
Randomness: I went to the 100yen store while my husband was having his MRI done and got these cute anime glasses!!
and also to a new Patisserie for some delicious macaroons!! A dozen to be exact!!

In The Details...
I wanted to showcase these two items separately, from what I received the other day...
I received an addition to my Vintage Tomy Little Rooms collection! Garden set #2 above and below, pics of the box. Sold cheap, whew! Is a nice addition to my room sets! Now, I have most of the Tomy house, with an exception of the kitchen... Someday! LOL
The garden set includes the garden area and a swing.
Nice and new with minimal to no box creases or damage.
Pamphlet above and below the simple set up...
As shown in the box above, the color of the swing is different. I also notice that with Linda in the garden, she is actually a lot larger in scale next to the swing!?
The swing itself is a nice simple design, but so light weight I wonder if Linda would even be able to sit in it? The material used in most of the construction of the furniture in the rooms along with this swing is a light weight plastic material, that can easily crack if crushed, and in some instances can crack with a considerable amount of weight placed on it. So, I didn't bother trying to put Linda on the swing.
I also wanted to talk about this lovely 90mm Microman Arts: Love Live! Eli Ayase Anime figure. I love her anime art on her box, so cute!
Below, the articles inside of the box! Includes Eli, her stand, case, hand parts, microphone, and extra stand pieces.
Eli, is cute, but looks nothing like her anime art-_-; She is very tiny and is articulate to a certain extent. Her arms hold in this kind of buff stance. I've tried to move her upper arm closer to her body, but that is the closest I could get it.
The outfit can't be removed, except for her hands and the wrist bands that hide the pegs that go into her wrist. She is very different from what I had expected. I did pre-order another Microman Art figure... but if she is similar to this in looks, I may not be getting any other Microman figures next time-_-;
Her stand on the other hand is quite interesting, movable with its ball construction at the end that connects into the pink base. It can allow Eli to move freely into different poses, similar to Figma stands. I especially like the tube case, because if you want to have your figure stand alone on a desk or counter for display, she is safely kept away from dust, etc. Still a lovely figure, Eli is a welcome addition to my collection!
