Day After Christmas...

I hope you all had a great Christmas!! It was another simple one, but this year was my grandson's first Christmas, so it was extra special to have him with us.

This year I brought both my table top xmas trees to our village house and put them in my room for display. Our main Christmas tree, Sara and I rearranged the living room to accommodate it on a different spot from last year. So this year it was really nice to set up and decorate. Packages still under the tree in this photo was taken on Christmas eve. Now, it is empty. Haha!

Just a view of the two trees I set up in my room. I have a small pink one and a larger teal one. Both don't light up, but I like it simple. Just gives me the Christmas feels. I didn't really want anything special this year, except to have family close by and so it was really special.

Here are some items I found prior to the holiday...

I found this lovely vintage Chalkware 1920s style lady mirror. I had seen this one before via a fellow collectors page. So to find this one was awesome and truly a dream. Below, some Flower Knows, miniature gatcha Mermaid lip gloss and mirrors. I bought the set and have a few of them listed in my shop! The lip gloss is cute, mirror as well and great for BJD props!
Below, I have been smitten by this adorable Ninizee plush from China. I love the anime face and soft body. These are becoming popular to hang on your purse or bag. Well a lot of these bag tag plushies are becoming popular most especially Labubus from Pop Mart. I also got a Nommi 400 percent plush. She is much larger and you can still attach her to your bag or purse!

I love that I can change her eyes by simply pushing them upwards and there are three styles, one with hearts and one with a bear. I love the black style most, cause she looks so cute! She was a Christmas gift to myself. Last, I found some BJDs this one is called "Puppy Cotton Candy". There are three sizes, 20cm, 13cm, and 5cm. They have big heads, eyes, and chubby cute bodies. They are only purchased by a Japanese shop from China and the maker only sells them by lottery. I found one from an online Japan shop and she was already customized, and sold nude. The price was not as bad as I remembered BJDs to cost. The one on the left is a 3D printed 8cm version. I have already listed in my shop. Hair, eyes and dress come with her!

This customized version is truly adorable. I may list her in the shop! Below, a fellow collector and shop owner was selling this Rushton Lamb. I had to adopt her, gave her a good wash and added a few vintage touches to her. She is just missing her pajama bag.
Well that's all for now. May the holiday and New Year bring you all that you wish for!

"Be Yourself;"

"... Everyone else is already taken." ~ Oscar Wilde

Gosh, we are halfway through November already!! I hope you all are doing well. Here are a few things I've found the past few weeks...

While doing my usual searches, I found a nude loose 1968 Kamar Emily doll. She just needed a spa day and luckily, I had a Kamar doll dress in my collection and TA-da! She is ready to be adopted! I have her listed in my shop! Just waiting to go to her knew home. Next, from a Japanese website, I found this lovely vintage pencil case with a bunny and Roly Poly dolls, a great addition to anyone's school supply collection. This item is also listed in my Etsy.

I also found this adorable Honey Toys Bunny in pink. She reminds me of Sekiguchi Moncchichi plushies, but with a cute look with her anime eyes! She will be added to my collection for now. Below, I found this lovely Swimmer Alice in Wonderland makeup Mirror still mint in box. I listed it in my shop and it sold out the same day! Glad it was something that someone could use and love!

Lastly, this lot of Rubber squeak animals. You may have seen the miniature versions from Ken Elephant?! These are cute and are already listed in the shop! Hopefully someone will find them and purchase. Below, a DIY I decided to work on since sales have slowed down a lot and so has buying...

Finds of Early March!

Time sure flies... Here's what I found recently!

This adorable plush sleeping kitty, I found and when I received her. I searched through my Rushton Catalogs and sure enough she is made by Rushton Toy Co. A lovely pajama bag too. She is in almost minty condition.

Next, I found another Clover Fresh Ichigo Chan. This time she wears a jumper dress. I got this one as a commission for a collector. She is already on her way to her new Mom. Below some Retro Ayumi Uyama posedoll miniatures. I have them listed in my shop and sold two already! Yay! I also got the Retro vintage colors Roly Poly dolls by Ken Elephant. There are five styles. All of them are listed in my shop as well.

A few pins I got for myself. The one in the center is by Fiona H. I've always wanted one too. Above that pin are brooches by Junichi N. and Rune N. Lovely cute girls. Below, a unique bonnet My Toy plush bunny! She will be great in someone's Easter basket! Also listed in my shop!

The adorable plush above by my dear friend Anna of Amanitarium. She listed this cutie and I couldn't resist. Late birthday gifts to myself. I also found these adorable vintage vanity sets. I just love the mirrors and they are wearing dresses too! Haha! I may list the blue one in my shop...

Lastly, this adorable clown rattle doll by Waggie Wheels. I have been searching for one for some time now. He was up for auction, and I won. I needed to repaint his eyes a bit. Just so cute and I added a ruffled collar to him as well. Definitely a keeper.

I hope your week has some amazing vintage finds. Happy thrifting!
