A fellow collector Marcello, shared on his IG, that he was able to acquire a newly released "Classic Toys" selection of stamps. I decided to check and see if they were still up for grabs and sure enough they were! Yay! Check through Royal Mail website.
These stamps are amazing, showcasing vintage dolls and toys, such as Sindy, Action Man, just to name a few...
The card that holds each of the stamps is also a booklet talking about the toys that are featured.
They even had postcards. I decided to get both. A very nice nostalgic stroll through memories of the toys of the past... A nice way to remember vintage dolls and toys you might want to get yourself a set?!
I had to order just a few more items via Hobby Search for Cherry Chan. A Kikipop dress, Swimsuit set, and Pure Neemo M Bra set. Sadly, this set of bra didn't fit like the white set did, and the gingham swimsuit top didn't fit her either... oh well. Still cute!
Cherry Chan in the Kikipop dress, a bit tight on the chest area, but still lovely!
Then, my sister in-law Jona stopped by with my brother, and dropped two lovely gifts off for my birthday that passed. Inside, this amazing fairy garden she made herself. The flower at the center is a small water fountain!! Too cute! I just had to share this with you!
She's so sweet. Thank you Sis Jona!
I found this red register via etsy. It came with two coins. I was planning to use it in a Shop case I got last year, but it's a bit larger than I thought... May keep it for the cute drawer that opens up, and you can put play money into...
I was able to snag this set of two Mod doll dresses via IG. I love the red dress with colorful tie most. I was hoping they would fit my Gigi doll, but sadly, it is too big. I will have to find another doll it can fit...
Comes with hangers and I was gifted a pair of red glasses and a Blythe badge too. You are too sweet my dear friend Nitemary_in_Kitschland!!
Last, I found, and binned this lovely 1957, Dare Wright book, through ebay. Titled, "The Lonely Doll". I've seen it before and always wanted a copy. Now, I got myself one. There are several that Dare wrote... I may try to find the others?
An inspiration for many dolly stories written! Have a wonderful weekend all!

Onine Finds in Da Houze!
Here's what came in that I found and won from a few weeks ago...
All from Yahoo Japan, I won a basket full of retro toy jewelry, etc., a ceramic bunny, a ceramic deer, cat, bunny couple, and anime girl memo and small memo notebook.
These cuties were from a Lot of five figurines. Upon inspection, the bunnies are in great condition. I love the large flowers on them. The boy bunny still has his original chain necklace and the girl bunny's is missing hers. But, I will add a bow to her. No markings, and they will be listed in my Etsy shop soon.
This ceramic bunny is missing it's partner, but still lovely. Also has some crazing on her face and perhaps a factory defect. I've added a bow and she will also be listed in my shop.
Another cutie missing its partner... these figurines are still in lovely condition. Just a marking on her face above the winking eye.
She's actually too cute. I may have to keep her or let her go with the puppy I have, who is also missing her partner...
This ultimate cutie, I will keep for myself. A deer or is it a bunny? Made very much like my cute deer with vase...
Now, that I see them side by side, she is a deer and is also missing her partner, but looks nice with my deer and vase. She will be added to my collection.
I found this white basket case with toy accessories too cute to pass up!
The handkerchief inside, reminds me of Twiggy. Don't you think so? Upon inspection, it has two faux pearl necklaces, one in white and one in hot pink, a hair clip, a pearl ring, a cute flocked elephant brooch, a pink bracelet, and handkerchief.
I unfolded the handkerchief and it has the word, "Tuesday" on it, along with ballerina artwork by Masako Watanabe, I believe. When folded up it looks like Twiggy. LOL
I also bought two small aprons from an etsy shop here. Love em'. They also sell Lolita style clothing for Human size! Nice! The aprons will be used on my Happy Sachiyo bunny or Cherry Chan!
Redressed Cherry chan in an Azone dress with the tulle skirt I got the other day...
Fun!

In Search Of...
It's been another busy week. Working on taxes. Never fun. Haha. So, last month, I was able to snag a few goodies via online and one is from a fellow collector and friend, Christine of kitschandkawaii shop on etsy.
She was doing a fundraiser via her sales on etsy. I saw her goods that she announced would be listed and amongst all of her dreamy vintage goodies, was a set I had been after for years. I actually first saw the set, I thought from Gretchen of Shop 66. But, it wasn't from her. It was another fellow collector on flickr Grenadine Supreme. She had a few of the cuties, along with some bug cuties, this was about August, 2008. Fast forward to June, 2013, Christine's collection of the same cuties shown on her work desk via flickr photo. Now, 2018, I finally have her set in my possession... Thanks Christine for the gift too dear!!
Upon inspection, they are all missing their wings except for one, and their instruments. You see, these nude cuties are actually from a set. I will detail further below...
Made in "Hong Kong" written on wings. There are a total of five nude cuties in my purchased set. One is missing. Three are in the same pose, and two in an other. They each have a little ring at the top of their heads to hang them from, sorta like ornaments. But they really aren't.
I love their eyes most, very unique in style and paint. Definitely remind me of the mid to late 60s. Or even from a book I had as a child about "Adam & Eve", drawn in cartoon. I still would like to find that book again someday... LOL
When the wings are removed, this is what it looks like at the backside. There's a blonde, an auburn hair, brown hair, black hair, red head, and missing a dark red head angel.
This is what the complete set below looks like mint in box. Photo reference courtesy of Olga on flickr. She shared them to Grenadine, and mentioned they were from ebay. I'm in search of the complete set mint or complete in box or without. So, if anyone has one or knows someone that does. Please email me!! For now, I will try my best to find replacements for these cuties....
Called, "Angels Hang Arounds", they are a decorative room mobile. It says you get "6 soft molded angels dolls, dolls are removable for added play. Have fun with easy assembly." Each of the dolls have a plastic instrument, a harp, or a recorder or flute perhaps. Probably in different colors as seen on the illustrations on the box. I believe their wings are different colors too? Maybe, even missing their halos? The mobile itself has a lovely music note design, and a large treble cleft at the center.
It would be sweet to the own the complete set. I honestly, have not seen any others since -_-; Any info. would be greatly appreciated. There is also a Bee set! But, I only want the Angels. Also, if anyone can read the company name top right? Its too pixelated as I try to enlarge, and can't tell. This info. too will be greatly appreciated.
Redressing Cherry chan...
Azone school girl style fashion, stockings and shoes.
I also got this lovely red tulle ballet skirt for her. I will show off later on... Purchased via etsy here.
Wiesje Wollepop came in too and so cute next to its name sake, Wiesje!
I picked up these vintage Japan animal puzzles to be added to my shop later, so cute!
This puzzle I will keep, it has my Oike baby doll in it! Also made in Japan.
Different dress, but still the same face, hands. Shoes are different too.
What do you think?
