More on The 3-Tiered Glico Container Set...

I first wrote about this miniature set here! I finally, took out my vintage Scarlet dresser and did a little scene to showcase the containers below! Enjoy!
I've seen these containers once or twice, and was amazed to find it up for auction recently. Generally, they sell and I lose out because of the end price. But I guess this was my time to get it and won it for fairly cheap. It just reminds me of similar containers that are human-size. So, to have this set in miniature, about 1/6 in scale, was just too good to pass up!

Wish I had more miniature jewelry and things to place into each container... But, it still turned out nicely...

Doing Some Errands...

While my husband had his physical therapy session today. I took a leisurely stroll to the nearest Tokyo Mart in Tamuning, and here's what I found!
Not my photo above. Tokyo Mart is a store that sells many Japan made items! So, if I need my Japanese candy fix, this is the place I go too! Located close to Cost-U-Less in Tamuning, which is also by Applebee's. I think this store is similar to the "7/11's" they have in Japan, selling snacks, drinks, bento lunches, etc..
I found so many goodies today, but these were the items I walked away with!! Sadly, it's quite expensive even though the US dollar is doing well?! Go figure?! There was so much more I wanted to buy! Maybe next time?!
I found, Dars Uji Matcha. Looks delicious, and I can't wait to try it!!
Dars white chocolate for Taby! My daughter loves white chocolate more!!
This colorful yummy sticky rice ball also called, "Hanami Dango". On Guam this is similar to the texture and flavor of "Potu". Our version is made similar, the difference is that ours has, "Tuba" in it. You can read more about it here in this blog, Annie's Chamorro Kitchen!
Also these delicious "Strawberry" Milky Candies! Rare, and will now become a new favorite for us!! I need to remember to get some for my sister to take for my next trip stateside!! LOL

Hopefully a box will be in soon... ?

Figma PLUS School Route Playset!

I finally, took out the Figma PLUS School route set to put together and try it out!! It was fairly easy to put together. But with no real instructions other than box photo. I would've had a much harder time. The pieces fit together easily. However, when you put the pegs into the flooring, is another story...

Still, I was able to sort of copy the box photo, and here Wataru is above, looking lost on his way to school!
Haru looking handsome, and is a better fit for this scale set. LOL, he is a figma figure!
I also tried modified Alice an MMS figure and she was a good scale also. It will be interesting to try out other ways to design the set. Still fun and will be great for after school scenes, etc.!

We also went to the local mall yesterday, and found a generic version of Nano legos, to create Mario! How cool is that?! Can't wait to try it out!

Commissioned Item!

Just received an item in the mail today, on commission through Yahoo Japan! Also, something for myself! Yippee!
Amazing Funny Tails by Takara 1987, are similar again to Sylvanian Families. This is a book house made for the squirrel family! So cute! This was a Lot, I won and it came with the family that lives in it too!

So adorable. I know the new owner will be so happy! It's even harder sometimes to find the family sets!

I also received this vintage Glico retro girl 3 tiered set of plastic colored container miniature! Too cute!
I need to showcase it on a dresser scene soon!! Sorry, forgot to mention it is 1/6 in scale!!

Lil' Fairy Yukatas, Etc.!

I received a few more pre-ordered fashions for my Pico Neemo Lil' Fairies! So cute and includes tiny zories too! Yippee!
I couldn't resist getting these cute Yukata style maid fashions! I made sure to get all three sets! Then, I also got a very small packet from Yahoo Japan below!
...and I am still waiting for two other boxes! Above, I got a Magaret Talking Dolly fashion. I love the vintage stripe look and hope that I have a doll that can fit the dress?! I also got another Arrietty cell charm. I like to use this Chibi style Arrietty for Funny Tails house scenes! Sara often gets upset that I have to borrow hers! LOL

There were other fashions available, but this one above was my favorite and cheap too!

My two Pico Neemo gals trying out the Yukata maid fashions! I love the color combos! Sadly, the zories are hard to put on Lipu. I guess in order to keep them on, I might have to use sticky clay or something? -_-; Still, my Lipu is very kawaii desu ne!

Lil' Fairies Dressing Up!

I received the latest Azone Pico Neemo fashions from this flyer here, some time ago and I finally was able to put them on my Lil' Fairies today!! Enjoy!
Lipu and Ewnoe, look so cute! I didn't get all the new fashions, just the styles and colors I wanted. Mostly for their hats! I've been wanting a straw hat for some time!

They are just adorable! I have one sailor style dress above, and one striped style dress, not shown. I didn't put it on Lipu as yet, because she was just too cute with the hat and her strappy style dress!

A Candle Garden...

A Christmas gift my son's girlfriend had given us, was this beautiful Round Candle Garden! I finally, took it out to set up on my work desk. It was fun to put together and I must admit it is very calming... Definitely, a beautiful gift to look at and meditate on.

It came with all the pieces you see exactly on the box! LOL, including sand, shells, rocks, and tiny shells you see along the shore! Wow!
You know I had to include some shots with a mermaid!!
Simply beautiful and very soothing. I will enjoy looking at this garden from my work desk!

Doing Some Errands...

Today, my husband had physical therapy, and I needed to go uptown to do some errands. So, while he was at PT, I went to the PO and picked up a box with goodies I will show in a later post. But, I also went to our local SM Store and found some really cheap buys I just have to share with you!!
While he was paying our power bill, I started looking around SM to see if there was anything worth looking at, and to my surprise... I found this cute set of boy and girl iphone cases! See the artwork on it! Well, a long story short, I've always wanted these cute ipad cases that had this very same artwork, back in 2013! They were expensive, and then when I had the money to get them, they sold out!! Ugh! So, I was definitely in shock to see them on iphone cases and for a mere $3!! I then, also found a "One Piece" key chain for Taby, at only $1, and I bought two Hello Kitty 'Monster" series cell charms! It was definitely a good day to stop by at SM Store!!

I also started reading "Mars" by Fuyumi Soryo, again. I have the complete set and wanted Taby to read them, but since she is currently reading "The Giver". She can read this when she is done! I've read it twice before, now going on three times! A really nice love story!
Then, my husband and I noticed, when we got home, that we got some Guam related quarters as change today! The one on the left is, "The Mariana Islands" edition, and the one on the right is, "Guam" edition. These were a special release back in 2011, I think?! It's awesome to actually see one!! I feel so patriotic now!
I also wanted to share the skies above out village parish, St. Joseph in Inarajan, Yesterday. It was a gorgeous evening!

Taking Our Dear Friends!

We have some special friends visiting from Japan and staying at our guest house! So, we decided to take them to see the Christmas Lights Display at The Governor's House!

The girls enjoyed themselves! Sara and Taby are happy to take their friends around!
It was rainy, but we still weathered it, and the lights were just as amazing as the first night we went there! They were giving out cookies and other assorted deserts, along with drinks, and a free photo with Santa!
Sara will miss her dear friends! This is the second year they stayed with us and the girls have become very close to them!! A great start to the new year!
