On our way to Shinagawa!

We had to go back to the airport to wait for the arrival of my Mother inlaw who will join us for the trip. She had to catch the next day flight...
Some snacks we got while at the Radisson.
Shiori finally out of her case!

Early morning in Narita. This photo reminds me of "Whisper of the Heart", when Seiji takes Shizuku to see the city early in the morning...Dreamy!
At the airport, enjoying some ice cream...while waiting for Nana.

On the Narita express to Shinagawa!

We made into Shinagawa by 11am. Now we had so much time before check in to our hotel...

You can see Sara on the right looking onto the massive view of buildings!!
A view of the street below from the 6th floor restaurant...
So right off of the train depo we found a nice sit in restaurant to relax n have lunch!

Right outside of our hotel, is this interesting sculpture!! A large trash can!!

Our dear friend Shizuka and her daughters Honoka and Urina took us on the monorail to the shopping center. Above, Uri and Sara looking out the windows on the monorail.
Below we head towards all the food places to find dinner!!
We met up with a friend and she took us to the Union City Odaiba Mall. We found a Daiso store!
And then Sara and Taby wanted to go to the Disney Store...
Sara is such a character! She was dancing on the Mickey Mouse symbol on the floor!!
Silly girl! Well, we were so exhausted by the end...Tomorrow is another day!!

In Narita, Japan!

We safely arrive into Narita Airport, this morning at 9am. We decided to eat lunch there and by 1pm we caught the shuttle bus to our hotel.

We saw the cherry blossoms just outside and decided to take some photos!
Sara wanted to pose in front!

A lovely Japanese home on the way to our hotel near the airport...
From our hotel room window a lovely view of the area, and below of the gardens!

Beautiful cherry blossom trees at the entrance to our hotel. Taby took these gorgeous photos of the trees and flowers!

Some New Items arrived to Me!!

It's been a crazy week... I had to care for my 2 month old God-daughter since her mother and father had to go to the Philippines for a checkup! So, its been exhausting...But I am looking forward to this week! I will be going to Japan!! More on that later on...Some cute things that came in this week!
I received these 1/12 scale miniature red shoes and glasses for Shiori from ebay. I will see if the shoes fit or not? They are made for Heidi Ott dollhouse dolls, but I'm hoping they will work on Shiori?!
Another cutie, a lil' fox this time from the same seller I ordered last time thru etsy! She gave me another cute lil' gift! A teeny dolly!
Finally, Azone released "A Good Librarian Likes a Good Shepherd" Tsugumi Shirasaki! She was actually supposed to be released back in February, but I guess they were delayed. I received her in the mail, and I love her anime face and figure-like model head. She is very cute and her school uniform too! Her shoes are quite different from the loafers released with Assault Lily dolls. I thought they might be the same, but aren't. In fact, they fit my Shiori nicely!! I actually pre-ordered her because back in January, I had just started getting into anime figures more so, then anything else lately...
Tsugumi is very cute and has other face options, awesome! It will be fun to do some outdoor shots with her!!
I also received this cute sailor fashion. I really wanted it for Shiori Rokkaku!
But its also so cute on Charlotte!! Poor Char, she's been in the cabinet for some time...I need to take her out for a photo shoot!
Through Amazon, I broke down and got these cute flower grass mats...It's shorter than my other mats, but will be great for photo scenes that I want to do later on...

Shiori below playing with her little dolly, thanks to etsy seller Bibbi!! Shiori will be traveling with me to Japan this week!! So excited!
Since, for my birthday back in Feb. I didn't go stateside to see my sister, instead, I decided to plan a special short trip to Japan to visit an amazing Museum!! More will be posted as the days progress... We leave Monday morning!!

Vintage Gumball Machine Ship in a Bottle!

I remember as a child always looking at the entrances at a store, where there would be 3 to 4 gumball machines lined up, to see what toys they had in them...  It was always right at the entrances or exits of grocery or department stores, begging you to stop, look, and seemingly call you to put a coin in for your chance at a toy displayed on the front of the machine...hmmm, the memories!

I can still recall all kinds of goodies displayed, a tiny doll, tiny cards, a cute necklace with a 'peace' sign, but getting exactly what you see on the front, wasn't always as easy! Today, I received one of those vintage gumball machine toys, a 'ship in a bottle'! This miniature I've seen on the front of those machines, but never in my life would I have thought to able to get one, and thru the internet!! LOL
While doing my usual searches via online I found it thru etsy, here at Bibbi Lou's Bounty! Nicely, packed inside the Altoids tin you see above, the seller made sure this little treasure made it safely to me!!
How awesome is this?! Ha, tiny little plastic or celluloid ship inside a plastic jug. This miniature would be awesome displayed in one of my vintage rooms or dollhouses! Now, to find a holder to display it on!!
The bottle does not open, and with few if any scratches, it will look nice too. I need to find more vintage gumball machine goodies, that I can remember!!?

I also received a small packet from Yahoo Japan below...
A 1/12 scale deer with antlers! Along with a Momoko dress for Flo...
This cute dress, I need to find time to put on Flourite! I love the tiny drawstrings and beads at the ends...very nicely made and stylish!

Such a cute deer, made by a seller in Japan. These creatures are great for display with Neemos, Blythe, etc. This one above, has her antlers and reminds me of the cute deer in the Christmas Classic, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer." Remember Clarice?! A similar one I purchased, here. Though, I think it was made for 1/6 playscale and a calf, it ended up being Taby's. She wanted it for display with her Neemos!
Above, Shiori greets her new friend! Below Shiori tries out the cute Pico Neemo fashion I got last week. Very cute on her and I added an underskirt to it...as she reads her manga book!
