Recent Finds!

May is on its way out... So here's what I found recently...

I found this lovely vintage baby gift wrap and its just so adorable. Babies in little hats and bonnets! In lovely condition too. A great addition to my gift wrap little collection. Below, I brought my Alice doll up to the village house to have her displayed on my bike stand. She looked great in my display. I simply love waking up to my little room!!

Next, I finally received a doll I ordered back in March from MiodollMio.com via a friend. I was in search as you know for more Small Puppy Cotton Candy dolls that are 5cm. I found Miodoll had them available for sale. This version has a different hair style and was painted by the shop as I requested. No eyes given so I had to put my own. She is truly adorable, but sadly just 1 centimeter taller than my original Small Puppy doll. Oh well, I still think she is unique and that's all that matters!

Below, from Mother's Day! Tabytha gave me this adorable handmade paper heart with some yummy Kanaf Chocolates in various flavors, sorry no photo of the inside. I decided to keep the heart it came in. Just too cute to throw away, LMAO!! I also, saw on instagram that a fellow collector, KitschyFlower was selling some cute finds he had. So I DMed him to buy this lovely vintage Krueger bunny doll. He's so unique and adorable!
Just look at his coloring and sleepy face! Definitely a keeper! Next, the latest Kabaya Jewel Box release with rare pendant inside!! This rare red heart pendant necklace, I was so thrilled to get! Now to display it!! Lately, I've been smitten by toy jewelry or toy trinket boxes, oh boy not good!! Haha!

There is also a blue and pink heart. Let's hope I can get these too?!! Haha! Just look at these cute toy rings by Tarin Kirameki a complete set. Each comes with a display stand and each of the rings look realistic. Not metal but plastic. Still cute and fun to me! Swimmer recently released on May 15th these adorable animal anthropomorphic mugs or tea cups!!

I am just in aww by them. The vintage styles are similar to a set I used to own here in this post. These are kitschy cute animal tea cups great for display in a collection. I bought the lamb, bunny and kitty to complete my set because I got the bear here in this post. I did end up getting another complete set for another buyer...

The tea cups are freakin' cute and Swimmer is even coming out with more cute styles!! Ugh the temptation!! Haha! I had to get these Swimmer appliques above. Only the bunny and lamb I found. Hopefully next time I can find the bear and kitty. Cuteness overload for sure!
Vintage Swimmer heart jewel cases, are the bees knees!! I found a complete set and got them. Swimmer, why do you have so many cute things!! Haha! Below, I added this panda bear applique to my collection. I am trying not to get more appliques but it is hard to resist adding them to my collection. Especially when you see them at your local Daiso. LMAo!

I hope you had a great May! Summer is here, so be sure to enjoy it, because it goes fast!!

Happy Hunting my friends!

Spartus Electric Tea Cup Clock!!

I just received this amazing vintage Spartus Electric Tea Cup Clock today!!! And it is soo dreamy for sure! Doing my usual searches, I couldn't resist getting it, when I saw it. I love the 50s styling and look. It will definitely go well with my collection too. Made by Spartus Corp. Chicago, around 1950s or early 60s. I've seen other colors in white, and aqua so far. There is no dial to turn to adjust the time. So, instead you just carefully turn the minutes hand. It has rarely been used and in lovely vintage condition too!

Next, I got this vintage rubber half doll from a fellow seller and collector through IG. He was selling another doll and I asked for this one instead. She was positioned, like a hand puppet on the doll he was selling. LOL I fell in love with her quirky look. She arrived to me and I had to clean her up. Not too bad too. She will be a great mascot of sorts on my page... I wonder what she was on, perhaps a car? Definitely made in Japan. Who can resist that face! I also happened to be grocery shopping last Saturday and found a New Kabaya Jewel Box set for sale. I grabbed two. LOL Still cute and I enjoy the chocolates from this one. Then, I also found a set of cute animal hair clips. I listed them in my shop last week and most of the colors just sold quickly. I was even asked if I could sell the whole card to one buyer. But, a few had already been purchased by a few customers.

Last, I decided to try and see if I could sew this cutie fuzbear a body. I didn't have enough aqua fur, so I made his body sorta smaller then normal. I even added a squeaker to his right paw, and a  bird sounder to his tummy. So, when you squeeze his palm it squeaks, and when you hold him by the hanger, just shake him and he jingles, with a tingaling sounder like in those roly poly dolls! I was already asked if I would sell. I haven't decided yet... With it being so hard to find a Rushton Happy Face bear nowadays, I am thinking the one's I make might be the best I can hope to own for now...

Lock down restrictions have been lifted. So far, so good. I hope you all have a great week.
