Introducing ggsdolls Miniature Retro Dogs!

I am so excited to announce... my newest creation, Miniature Retro Dogs with Display Case! Now available in my etsy shop!

I have created six amazing miniature versions of the vintage retro dogs that were made back in 1960s and 1970s by Bandai, Oriental Toys, etc. in Japan.

Each dog will come with, a cute collar with the letter "G" on it (ggsdolls), a brush (color may vary) attached by a gold chain to collar, and an acrylic hexagon display case, for you to keep him/her in, to stay dust-free.

 Each dog is about 3 1/2 in. tall or 9cm tall. Display case is about 6 x 3 1/2 x 3 1/8in.
The brush above attached to the collar.

On the back side of the display case are Care Instructions as shown above. Please Note:  This is a miniature and not meant for children 7 years of age or younger, it is also a collectible meant for display or for light play. Each one is unique, and OOAK or "one of a kind". Price is $35 dollars each, plus s/h. I do ship internationally. Go to my shop HERE!

I hope to make more animals soon! So, please stay tuned to my blog or wordpress for more information.

Randomness!

Just some random things going on as of late...

It's Easter Break, but I've been so busy with my Mother In-law's website. I've been hired to update and redesign it. So, it's been really fun, but I've also been neglecting my shop and other endeavors...ugh. So, I hope to share some good news of my own soon. So keep checking back.

I found this last week with the girls at Tokyo Mart. We decided to stop by. I've never seen this snack before and had to buy one just to check it out?! I looked at the English label sticker, and it just says chocolate, chocolate. What? I'm guessing from the photo it is chocolate hot cocoa?! Correct me someone? LOL.
Still it looks so yummy! I opened the packaging, and above is what it looks like. Below, you have to push the bottom of the packaging to pop the chocolate out.
It's like a lather of hot cocoa on top of chocolate! It was very smooth, creamy on your tongue and tasty. Just like all Glico Caplico's Yummy!

Then, I decided to redress Arnval below right in the Azone picco neemo fashion that was released last month. She is so cute in it too! I also played around with Oike on the right... It was fun to use the fabric I got from the 100yen store to use as backgrounds in my photos along with all the cute tiny miniatures and toys I have.

Speaking of 100yen store, I got more fabric and some black elastic below.

Then, this cutie arrived in the mail the other day!
A very tiny ceramic deer, I found via etsy from a seller here. It will be awesome in a tiny dollhouse or doll room scene! I can't wait to try it...

The seller sent it out and I was very surprise that it arrived to me so quickly. I just ordered it last week!

Speaking of fast shipping, below, I ordered the OG Loft to Love Dollhouse through Target.com and mind you, this was also last week, But it came lightening fast. Shipping for it was super cheap too?! Whaaaat! I received it just yesterday. I'm loving Target! Yay.
The dollhouse above. I hope to showcase more soon. I checked a few of my fellow dollhouse collectors and they shared theirs here and here! It came in a huge box, with a lot of bubble bags. So far it looks like there is no damage to it from shipment. More on this soon.

Thank you for reading the randomness! ~ ggsdolls

New Retro Camper!

There were a few friends via flickr and IG that shared a cute 6" doll camper sold only at Target... I did some research and found that it was available for sale thru Target.com! Awesome, I placed an order and received it last week or so!

The box that arrive was actually larger then the box that held the camper itself! But the postal lady was so sweet and called me to pick it up when it came in! Yay! I took awhile to actually open the box, almost a week since receiving it.

I've been so busy with some current projects. So, I finally opened up the box and took the camper out above and below. The camper itself is made by Our Generation Lori dolls which are about 6 inches tall. So, a camper like this will be nice for small 1/12 scale dolls or figures. It will be a lot of fun for outdoor scenes too!

Inside, the table is movable, and each of the cabinets can open. The oven opens and drawers too. Very nicely made. The light above the stove turns on as well! Wow! I will show this camper later on, when I am able to take some photos outside...

Booklet above and below. The two sleep areas are cute and come with blankets and pillows too.
 More on the camper later...

I quickly wanted to share this cute vintage tartan storage box, that came in today. I was able to get it thru Yahoo Japan and will add it to my shop!

Great to hold keepsakes, photos, dolls, and other special things. Like a lock box for special things.
Though it doesn't have a lock to it, it can still keep things safely stored and in a stylish way too.

Many wonderful snacks from Japan! This time around mostly small items, but still so exciting!

First up, Stubborn Potato - Curry flavor. According to Oyatsu a much talked - about new snack in Japan. Tough, crunchy with amazing curry flavor. Endorsed by the iconic Kabuki Actor, Shido Nakamura. He is very handsome on the package too! Sam will love this one because of the curry flavor!

Nerune - Pineapple & Melon snack above, Kracie's Nerune is the original and most popular DIY candy kit. Can't wait to try it!
Bikkuriman 8 are known by every generation in Japan. Delicious wafer and choco comes with a highly collectible card. Ohh, I've seen this one once before.
Kari Poli - Cola & Grape left, Japanese kid's favorite, known for it's unlikely combination of crunchy and chewy textures. On the right, Yuzu Senbei a premium Japanese rice cracker is made using Yuzu(Asian Citrus Fruit) & sugar crystals.

Pokemon 3D - Super Lemon, candy has a 3D graphic of a different Pokemon. Oh so cool, I know Sara will love this one too!
Classic Kinako Mochi is one of the first candy products made in Japan. We love mochi!
Koume Chews above, Japan's "Koume" series is instantly recognizable by it's Kimono Girl Mascot. In plum flavor. Yummy!
Kurobou (Black Bar) are regional snack from the Kyuchu region of Japan. Looks interesting.
Look 18 Japan's fashion symbol chocolate, a new luxury version. We get Look chocolate bars often on Guam!
Japanese Gachapon, this month its got cute cats in sushi, mochi or matcha green tea rolls! So cute, but weird at the same time... LOL
